When Edyn was worried about Gillion not wearing a cloak during Hull of the World, was that because she was told about how people in Allport treat people from the Underseas or because she experienced it firsthand? When Gillion marched around in the second level while they were visiting’s Earl, people made a spectacle of him and treated him like an animal. I’m sure if they stayed longer things would’ve escalated. Edyn Tidestrider surfaced from the Undersea alone and she nearly died. If she died, nobody would’ve known what happened to her. Gillion wouldn’t know until it was too late. How did she find Allport? The Tank? What happened to her between leaving the Trench and her first appearance in episode #57?

im not usually fnc brained but the concept of them trying to like share a bed is fascinating to me because gillion sleeps in saltwater. it's unclear if this is because he has to or because he just likes it. if we go down the route of "he has to", then trying to share a bunk with chip would be like. not possible. second best option is they hold hands in their own bed/barrel. or, they fall asleep in chip's bed and halfway thru the night gillion like. sneaks out and goes back in his barrel.

someone needs to old yeller me out back because i need to stop thinking about gillion worshipping lunadeyis and apparently always feeling a connection to her despite the undersea primarily worshiping the leviathans and not lunadeyis. like even her clerics/priests acknowledge him as her chosen one. he calls himself a moony. that's his mom. he never saw the surface before besides the simulations. did he ever look to the sky while he was training and see the moon? did he look to the moon and feel some sort of comfort, even if it wasn't real?

Gillion’s Relationship with Capital “G” God - 10:22

Context: Gillion is dying because of Kuba Kenta’s curse.

Chip asks Gillion why he doesn’t call upon his god (either the Leviathans or Lunadeyis, it’s not really confirmed which one).

Gillion says that he’s never really tried, and that he’s not sure if this is worth their time. 

Implies that Gillion never felt important enough to ask for some kind of divine intervention, even if he’s literally dying. 

“I’m gonna keep praying, which isn’t really something I do, but I guess now is not a bad time to start.” Gillion, 14:06

Life in the Undersea? - 01:27:06

Gillion says that “When people talk about the Undersea, I think they usually mean the capital or any of the cities or outposts.”

It’s been implied/confirmed before that a large part of the Undersea is pretty much unexplored – most likely because of how dangerous it is. 

Gillion describes the Undersea as “A vast abyss of magic, and wonder, and some pretty big, scary shit, too. More than that, it’s a cycle, it’s an ecosystem.” 01:27:23

“It’s pretty intense down there [...] There’s a lot of rules, because otherwise you'll be eaten by like a big squid, probably.” Gillion, 01:28:00

“We worship [the leviathans]. I mean they are, um, simultaneously at the top of the food chain and kind of the food chain itself.” 01:28:28
