Gina had gone to the Halloween Dance hoping to run into her girlfriend but she was nowhere to really be found for some reason, and she wasn’t answering her phone. Gina had kept drinking, growing a little more miserable and lonely. She still had these strange bouts of not knowing who the hell she was and they would overcome her at random times. Tonight seemed to be one of them. She left the party early, not really bothered about standing there alone or watching the fireworks. Maybe she’d head home and stick on a horror movie marathon, see what her sister was doing, and keep trying Ella. Why wasn’t she answering? Gina didn’t want to seem clingy (though she knew she was, considering the fact she’d practically stalked her roommates) but Ella was usually quicker than this. So where was she? Was she with someone else? Or had something horrible happened? This was Baberton, after all.

On the way home, Gina found herself wandering past the Haunted House they’d set up in the abandoned house. She found herself smiling a little as she watched some younger teens running out of the door yelling and laughing. She told herself to stop being miserable and just have some fun, so she turned and headed on into the house. It was definitely creepy and Gina found herself enjoying it, though she ended up veering off the main path and found herself a little bit turned around, in areas that clearly were for staff to hide so they could jump out or something. She moved forward again and all of a sudden she lost her balance and collapsed through a hidden door. “Shit-!” She muttered, realising she’d collided with another person.

Lifting her gaze, Gina locked eyes with Ella. She was confused as she blinked back at her, trying to figure out what she was doing. Was she working here? No, she’d have said something. Right? Gina opened her mouth to speak but her mind was already connecting the very real looking knife she’d suddenly noticed, and the Polaroid pictures that had spilled from Ella’s pocket in the collision. Pictures of people at the dance - she was at the dance! If she was at the dance... and lurking in the background, taking random pictures... and now she had a knife... Gina turned her head and saw Alexandra Willis and everything sort of pieced together in her brain and she felt too stunned to move, let alone run for it.

“I--” Was all she managed to say as she looked back at Ella, before all she felt was pain. She did call out for help, maybe not very loud but she could barely hear herself right now, but everyone would have thought it was part of the fun of the Haunted House. Gina couldn’t believe this was happening. Ella... was Ella -A? Was she killing people? Was she about to kill someone now? Had she just killed her? She was stabbed more than once and it was quick that the light drained from her eyes, probably for the best because the betrayal and the pain and the shock was far too much for her. Gina drifted off into death without being able to say another word, her bright future smothered out in an instant.

Halloween had gone down without a hitch, really. During the party, -A had managed to snap a few photographs of people who wouldn’t really want the pictures to get out. They’d taken Lucas Pike and his little friend Ana Maxwell out for a little “walk” just to give Dakota and her new apparent girlfriend a good scare. On the walk out, they’d even had some time at the end to be able to send some texts to Emma Williamson since she was dodging the whole holiday in general.

The haunted house was a little quieter to start off with. Metaphorically anyway, there was screaming coming from all the idiots wandering the maze. For -A, it was mostly a spying mission. Reconnaissance. They moved with ease to different areas of the house, watching, waiting, snapping pictures. It was such a good way to spend Halloween. They could only imagine how stir crazy Jamie was getting sitting in his cell right now, thinking of all the things he could be doing, all the ways he could have protected his sister.

There was a little hidden room, the door of which was concealed by decorations, and that’s where -A had ended up right now. They had a knife in their pocket and it wasn’t long until they had their eyes on the perfect victim for Halloween. It had just sort of slid into place without any planning at all on their part. They had Alexandra Willis in the perfect position to get her out of the picture and create some real chaos and grief. The knife came out and -A was preparing, hiding behind some decorations when suddenly someone else stumbled upon the little hidden room, crashing right into -A and laughing a little drunkenly. -A turned and realised that it was Gina Parker and she realised the laughing had stopped and Gina had noticed the knife, and the stack of Polaroids that had fallen to the floor when the two had collided. Gina was putting it together, too clever for her own good really, and that was when -A knew the victims had to be switched.

It was quite quick. More of an impulsive act out of sheer necessity. Pure survival. -A wouldn’t let themselves be caught, not now, not by anyone.

→ Background

Gina, or Gigi as she likes to call herself, is Rachel Parkers big sister, but the girls are barely alike. Both of them grew up in poverty with parents who barely cared, although it always seemed like they cared more for Gina since she was the kid they wanted and never wanted a second one. Gina has often heard that her parents called Rachel an accident and she felt bad about it. But her sister never heard, went out and caused trouble, and to be honest Gina never felt like she was responsible for any of this. She was a bright kid and never had any struggles in school and acted on the outside as normal as anyone could, but at home she would cry all the time because her parents were really bad at their job. So she locked herself in with music and studying instead of going out and acting up. Gigi got it in her mind that if you wanted out of this hole then you needed to work for it, so she took up her first job quite early and started saving up money. It was just little jobs, like delivering papers, but she could save it all up until it was enough for her to move out. She was the youngest in class back then. She was in class with Hannah Clarkson, who never really took any interest in Gina because the girl always seemed a little stuck up to Gina, but she didn’t mind not having many friends then. She just wanted to get out of their parents house.

Gina loved Baberton though, she liked the little things, she loved going into the Coffee Bean, she loved walking around the park, for her everything in this place was perfect but her parents. It’s also the only set choice she made. Staying in Baberton but getting out of her parents home. That was the set plan and she did it. At seventeen she moved herself into a tiny place and got herself, quickly after graduation, into college. Thing is, Gina is incredibly indecisive and it shows in a lot of her daily businesses. It starts with choosing what to eat for breakfast, or the fact that she isn’t entirely sure if she’s into girls or boys… maybe both, or the fact that she just can’t figure out what she wants to do with her life. She doesn’t know what she wants to study in college and it’s making it hard for her to focus on anything else. By now there isn’t much contact to her sister, although she would like some more. She doesn’t even have an idea what she’s up to recently because she has her head in the books. But at times she actually goes out, mostly to the spots where students hang out. She experiments with people of all ages, all colors, and all sexes but somehow she’s still unsure about herself and at times it upsets her a lot and she stays in for days.

Gina is still in college, probably one of the students who seem never to leave. She started out with studying math for a year, going over to English, and history and art and… a lot. Every year she drops one subject to move to the other. The subject of this year is psychology and she likes it so far because the professor is really nice but who knows how long until she figures out she wants something different. She works at the post office, bringing around some letters in a few streets of Baberton, and it is a nice change to sitting around at home and she needs something to distract herself. By now she moved into a bigger place and since her last roommate left she looked for a new one so she could spare some money. When Nina Everett asked for the room, she immediately wanted to have her there because she seemed nice and sweet. Also it was the only person who asked so she didn’t have to choose.

Gina’s last roommate left because she was obsessively stalking the girl. Gina didn’t even know why she did it but she felt strange not knowing every detail about the person she lived with. And Gigi already has the worst habit in asking the wrong questions, being too personal, and she scared that girl off by looking through her room and asking questions about her whenever she had friends over. She is embarrassed that the girl ran for the hills because of her and she tells people that she’s gone because her mother was sick.

Gina witnessed a girl being raped at a party in another town. She stood there for a few moments, then shut the door behind her. Doing absolutely nothing to prevent the horrific outcome. She feels more than guilty that she actually watched the thing even and, ever since then, she’s been having fantasies of rough sex, like she witnessed. She craves for someone to touch her like this but it always reminds her of not having the backbone to help that girl. What she didn’t know, that girl was Daisy Ramsey, the girl that recently killed herself after admitting she was -A. Until recently anyway, when her secret was revealed during a block party and everybody there found out what she’d done.

Gina is being blackmailed into being on the -A team. In exchange for them not telling anyone about her stalking habits, she has to put them to good use for -A. Gina’s more than a bit worried about what this means.

“Oh... I wasn’t judging or anything.” Gina said quickly, shaking her head and giving the woman a shrug.

It wasn’t like Jane to be at bar this late, but she’d been feeling off, and maybe she needed a night to herself. “You can just leave the pitcher.- Thank you.” The woman muttered before glancing up. “Uh. It’s not all for me, I promise.”

Gina smiled brightly at her, nodding as she turned her attention to the Ferris wheel. “Y’know what, that sounds like a perfect idea to me.” She chuckled, biting her lip a little as she moved and took Ella’s hand as they walked towards it.

“Thank you for coming with me today.” Ella smiled, looking over at her for a moment. Even if she wanted to reach out and take her hand right now. “Want to do the Ferris Wheel? We can make out at the top for a little bit.”

“Ella…Ella Burke?” She questioned, looking back at her. There was a smile on her lips. “Good I’m glad that you have found someone. Look at us the Parker sisters finding people to be with.”

“The one and only.” Gina grinned, thinking about her. “I know, right? Who would have ever thought it was possible.” She chuckled. She certainly hadn’t, all her uncertainty about who she even was... Ella made sense. “I’m really glad you’re happy, Rach.”

“Cheers!” She chuckled. “You having fun?”

“Oh yeah? And just who is this lucky person?” Rachel questioned, looking over at her sister for a moment. “Whoever they are, they make you happy.”

“Her name’s Ella.” She smiled lightly, shrugging. And, uh, yeah... she does. It’s been... pretty awesome.”

Ella couldn’t help but smile. She was happy in this moment, nodding her head a little bit. “I’ll be down there, babe.” She watched her go before taking out her phone. Checking some stuff before she got up to join Gina. Placing a kiss onto her shoulder after she wrapped her arms around her.

Gina smiled softly, leaning into Ella with a light sigh. This was nice. “Hey..” She chuckled. “You’re just in time, it’s nearly ready.”
