hello everyone! it’s ya girl, lily back at it with character whoring and getting my sixth character again despite having busy schedule in school. but anyways i’ve queued this post since i usually post mine in bad times so hopefully this one gets the mass of people!! i’ll be rping later on and figuring out ginny’s role in the au once i wake up from my sleep. 

➰ ( PENELOPE MITCHELL, CISFEMALE, SHE/HER ) *✧.:°░｡ —- is that GINEVRA 'GINNY' CLEARWATER ?! you know them, right? they are the TWENTY FOUR year old SHADOWHUNTER !! they’re known for being THOUGHTFUL & ADAPTIVE - but i'd be careful if i were you because they’re also APATHETIC & IMPETUOUS. i heard they volunteered to be paired with ORION MEADE.

Ginny was someone her parents never wanted. Her mother was a shadowhunter who got pregnant at age 18 by a businessman. The said businessman had a wife and two children and was surprised to find a baby on his doorstep with a paper attached to it saying ‘this is your child. -m.’ along with a 

Let’s just say her father’s wife was not too happy with a new addition to their family. Ginny became maltreated during her childhood, her step mother giving her the worst food, slapping her when she did better than her step siblings. At most, she tried her best not to draw any attention but she was just so much better at sports events than her step siblings.

One day, she was so fed up with the abuse her step mother had given to her (her father apathetic towards the abuse because he simply did not ask for another child) that she actually ran away from home. 

She lived in the streets, sometimes, picking locks of homes who did not have any people in it to sleep on then move away again. She managed to steal some money from her father’s vault so she was able to sustain herself with food and all during her runaway. 

Thieving had became a normality for her since she ran out of cash after a few months of being on the run. She had to do things for her survival and she did it most of the time that it was hard for her to get caught.

One day, she had reached LA and had to rob a convenience store to supply her weekly need but unfortunately for her, she was stopped by a scene in front of her (as she returned to the ‘corner’ she lived in): a shadowhunter killing a demon and when the shadowhunter saw that she actually saw what happened, he decided to take her to the institute. 

It was revealed that she herself was a shadowhunter, it was a different feeling since for the longest time, she had a decent place to sleep onto and a room for herself (she always shared room with her step siblings because her step mother was scared she’d do something heinous when she’s alone).

She was grateful for the whole circumstance so she wanted repay back by doing her duty as a shadowhunter. Ginny has now been staying in Wilshire for five years and loves the place since it’s the first time she felt like it was home.

So, that’s her bio and all and here’s her personality:

Ginny is someone who treats people the way she want to be treated. Or she treats them the way she is being treated. Most of the time, she shies away from people due to fear of abuse again given by her step mother. She’s afraid that people won’t accept her.

Even if she’s stayed for five years, she still felt alone. She sees everyone having families and all and she never knew what a family is.

By now she’s totally apathetic towards meeting her mother, she’s a bit bitter about being given away but was glad about it because she didn’t want to get stuck with a shitty mother.

She treats her bond with utmost respect. It’s as close as she gets to family.

She’s just a cinnamon roll in need of love!! So, hmu with plots and all!! <3
