introducing . . . GINNY WEASLEY !

CHILDHOOD

Ginny was born on the 11th of August, a bright summer day to Arthur and Molly weasley, she is the only daughter and the youngest child of the two

She grew up in the Burrow on the outskirts of Ottery St Catchpole in Devon

As a child she’s always been adventurous, always exploring the areas past her backyard, always playing in the rain, not afraid to get rough with her brothers, she’s always been dauntless like that

She also started Quidditch at an early age (secretly) she found the sport refreshing and trained every day to be her best, she’s not a perfectionist she just doesn’t want to waste potential

This was what built her secretive nature, she was cunning and sly having to train secretly was hard work but it became something she was good at

Because she grew up with her brothers, she was familiar with suffering from pranks and executing pranks, she’s opinionated and is not afraid to say what’s on her mind and even as a child she’s always tried to make everybody smile

YOUTH

Ginny watched as her brothers reached of age and got a letter for Hogwarts, one after the other and she could not wait, she’s heard so much stories from her parents and her brothers and she wanted to be there so badly

She was also worried that she would turn out to be a squib, to be non-magical was something that scared her right down to her bones

She kept practicing her quidditch and whenever she practiced with her brothers, she always got a tad over-competitive, this was what built her winning-attitude and desire for victory at all costs

It was during this time that Ginny developed her impatient and meddlesome traits, she always was too intrusive with her brother’s school life in an effort to live their schooling experience through them

ADULTHOOD

As soon as Ginny got her letter for Hogwarts, she was absolutely over the moon, she was excited to actually play quidditch on a team and to taste all the glorious food that everybody had been talking about

She was worried about what house she was going to be sorted in, she had already broken the all-boy pattern of the Weasley family sos he was scared she was going to break the all-Gryffindor pattern as well, she’s always been scared of breaking family traditions but at the same time, she’d be willing to assert herself against the norm

She was happy she got sorted into Gryffindor and was absolutely ecstatic that she got Chaser position in her second year

Siding with the order wasn’t even a decision she had to think about, she would fight beside her family and wasn’t afraid to fight for the good

RANDOM HEADCANONS

unruly hair from sleeping on the desk after doing homework that was due the next day

her quarter of the dorm will probably be the messiest

early morning quidditch practices

giving personalised gifts to her friends

wearing quidditch jumpers 24/7

hi guys !! i go by N and i think i’m gonna play ginny much more out there than what the films showed, she’s going to be like a little spit-fire who’s not afraid of anything
