We would like to thank all 300 of you for making such a memorable weekend. We hope that you had as much fun participating as we did in organising the conference, and we also wish that you treasure the knowledge and memories that you have created over the past 3 days.

FIRST DAY!!!!

Hello everyone and welcome to the first day of GIN Conference!

The conference officially start at 5:00 pm, a beginning for many great ideas to be put into work for the next 2 days. Our open ceremony was welcomed with many stories being shared from the head of SSIS, Sarah, Debby and a very special guest from a social worker who has been actively volunteers to help blind people in Vietnam for 15 years , Ms. Grace. Right after the ceremony, sorting out members for GANG group was filled with shout and scream as GANG leaders tried to gather their members. The excitement continues toward Dinner as the air is entertained with student's music performances and GANG group such as Psychological Disorder 2 (being extremely loud). Finally, the day end at 8:30 PM with the first Gang Session.

A reminder: PLEASE BRING A PAIR OF CLOTHES TOMORROW IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE WET FOR THE WHOLE DAY.

What is going to happen tomorrow? Do we need to go to SSIS by certain time on Friday? If so, what time will it be?

The conference starts tomorrow! Assuming that you have registered as a participant, you will have to arrive to SSIS at 4:45 the latest. It is preferred that you arrive with all of the other participants from your school so that the registration process will be easier :)

Registration Reminder

This is a reminder that the conference registration is from 4:00-4:55 on March 25. This is when you receive your ID, shirt and conference swag. 

It is important that your chaperone(s) are present as the items will be handed to them.

ATTENTION PARTICIPANTS!!!

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you bring the following to the conference, particularly on Day 2 (Saturday, March 26):

Hat, sun screen and/or sunglasses

Water bottle (from swag)

Clothes to change into (preferably sportswear) and sports shoes

Things are gonna get all over the place so try not to wear anything expensive

Also don’t forget to bring shirt(s) to donate on Friday!

COLLABORATE TO INNOVATE. GIN Saigon 2016, is the annual Global Issues Network conference held in Ho Chi Minh City, with participation of international schools in the region. To raise awareness for the different local and global issues, GIN Saigon gives students an opportunity to learn and connect with like-minded teenagers.
