i choose the codebook of gapminder. for my is particulary interesting global topics like income per person, life expectancy, employ rate, and other global variables. the variable polity score, thah messure the decmocracy score of a country call my atention, so maybe i will compare with the level of urbanzation and the income in different countrys segmented by region.
in the literature reviwe, i discover a paper of Ramón Máiz, he adoard the raltion between the inequality and the democracy, a perfect sustent for my study. Felipe Gonzalez and Paula Valencia make a study about the democracy inside inequality countries, so i can compare the results with their analisis.
With this frame i wold like to anser the question: does exist a relation between the income per person and the polity score?
