Being a white man in the south is hard because a lot of the other white people will nudge me and say things about non-white people under their breath that make me want to invent a new unit of measurement in order to describe the speed with which they can go fuck themselves and die.

One good thing about being in a relationship with someone who had been in the army a long time is that sometimes they say stuff to you like:

"Boy, you got the bearing of a pile of fried onions"

I do not know what that means but hearing him say it was delightful.

Was late for a meeting at work this morning because I chose to remain in my car steering wheel drumming for ALL of "Don't Fear the Reaper" and that, my friends, is what happens when cost of living salary increases are denied.

It should be noted that all of my branch was late the exact same amount of time, almost as if it was planned...but that would be silly, petty, and surely we're above such tactics. How can a group of simple librarians possibly have the foresight to make note of exactly what makes the big bosses just mad enough but not too mad?

When you can't destroy, at least annoy.

I'm a very peaceful man and strive to make those around me feel safe and loved at all times but make no mistake, I am very very angry inside a lot of the time.
