I started reading You Should Be So Lucky and then I stopped and just reread We Could Be So Good. That book is even more excellent than I remembered. A masterpiece! I don't know why Cat Sebastian's 40s-60s novels are so interesting to me when I have never cared about those time periods before.

Also, it struck me as I was reading it that Andy is probably neurodivergent. Then when I returned to You Should Be So Lucky, I definitely thought Eddie was ADHD.

I read Cat Sebastian’s We Could Be So Good and now I’m ruined for doing anything else. Throughout, Nick complains that the queer novels a minor character gives him are unrelentingly sad and disturbing and he wished queer characters could have better endings

and then Nick and Andy get a better ending. One that Nick would not have predicted for himself at the beginning of the novel.

I need like, 7-10 business days to recover from this
