mike pushed Troy to the floor in s1 after troy made fun of Will for being dead and for being gay

you know what’s the most badass part about this scene, though? mike doesn’t even flinch when troy stands up and barrels toward him, most certainly to hurt him

The resolve in his expression is determined to see this through. He knows Troy is capable of violent retaliation, not only just in this moment but it will also amplify the bullying Mike and the rest of the party receive daily.

Much like jumping from the cliff, he’s not expecting anyone, let alone El, to come to his rescue. He was prepared to take a beating if it meant defending Will, who at this point he wasn’t even wholly sure he was still alive. He did it for the love of the game and the love of his boy— and i love that about him

TLOU SEASON 2

Ok ok so ik theres so much surrounding this topic, “character changes” “revenge arc” “yadda yadda”

BUT CAN WE JUST FORGET ALL THAT FOR A SECOND?!?! can we talk about the utter romance surrounding Ellie and Dina and how it’s literally so diabolically good that I giggle and blush and kick my feet whenever I see them on screen?!

Ellie “I would die for you. I would” Williams and FREAKING DINA (no words have to be said).

They are the best friends to lovers and they did it so freaking well. THE TENSION, PEOPLE THE TENSION *arms flailing* every look, every touch, the dance scene where they’re kissing and laughing. May I say: even before the kiss where they’re making each other giggle and flirting there is such a profound connection which I think is what makes their relationship so brilliantly beautiful -> even without the physical intimacy they HAVE THE BEST CHEMISTRY EVER?!?!

and yes..I know what happens. So this mix of all the small, beautiful things builds up to the biggest heartbreak that I know I will ever feel (if the plot stays on course) but don’t you think that the glimpses along the way make their relationship so so much better?
