okay so i'm listening to miss pauling's voice lines (which i'm still not over the fact these are legit i'm so happy rn i'm loving them and i'm only at the beginning) and i got 2 many things to say:

the fact she does go out with the mercs is so friggin adorable holy shit

what do you mean "hey demo i was on the phone with your ma" ?!? SO SHE CAN JUST CHAT WITH THE MERCS FAMILY ON A REGULAR BASIS OR JUST SOME PARENTS (excluding maybe heavy's family and sniper's...maybe)

she took a boxing class

she's a friggin goober oh my god WHY DO PEOPLE WRITE HER AS SOME SORT OF SERIOUS STICK IN THE MUD WHO DOESN'T HANGOUT WITH THE MERCS OR ONLY HAVING HER DO PAPERWORK AND NOTHING FUN???? (i get yeah in expiration date she had one day off for a year but that was then,, ig she gets off days or it's part of her job??? maybe??? to get along with the mercs??? still she seems to enjoy it aside from the fics where she's written to not really care about them or her care for them is hidden when nah,, she'll legit say out loud she's having fun with the mercs. did we forget she was the one who wanted to play that board game in the halloween comic?

i friggin love how she talks to all the mercs in unique ways that only they can understand (aside from maybe spy and sniper which is hilarious considering the comics she seems to be getting better with them...though all those voice lines were before the comics soo).

Tf2 details that a lot of people get wrong:

Demoman is most likely under 30, making him either the third or second youngest out of the cast. I GET IT. YOU CAN ALL STOP TELLING ME HE'S "not actually under 30" IM TALKING ABOUT THIS COMIC ISSUE. NOT THE ACTUAL FULL COMIC SERIES WHERE IT TAKES PLACE 5 YEARS AFTER.

Scout can drive. He even has that taunt where he drives that little scooter.

Snipers glasses were likely given to him by his dad.

Engineer is NOT the most """sane""" of the mercs, that actually goes to Heavy. He has a severe God complex (line: "I am a GOD!") And cut off his arm cuz why not. He also has green eyes, not blue.

Medic is terrible at naming things. I just think this has a lot of potential for jokes.

Pyro is completely aware they're setting stuff on fire, they just like wearing their mask. They also aren't a kid despite how Miss Pauling talks to them.

Spy isn't as professional as people think. He takes 7 seconds to piss on a wall, and Miss Pauling tells him to wash his mask since he never takes it off.

Soldier WAS "racist" (I really don't know how to describe the term here) until he met Zhanna.

Finally, Heavy. I don't even need to explain anything. His entire CHARACTER is always mischaracterized to be Medic's alpha boyfriend. He's arguably the most caring one out of the mercs.
