I do think she's a genuinely gorgeous sculpt. I just with she had hip/wrist/ankle movement. I still haven't finished her face but I took a new photo for you.

Ghost in the Shell Innocence Gynoid Hadari doll I got off Mandarake. The lips seemed to me painted with enamel the same as the white coating, so I opted to just paint right over them. She’s a stunning sculpt! Although, I think it’s funny that her teeth are the only part not coated in white enamel. The picture that shows the inside of her head gives you a good visual of how yellow 17-year-old resin might get. The inside of her head has never seen sunlight so this is 100% natural aging.

Merry Doll Round Olathe very much needs a new faceup, but since she has SOME faceup it’s not at the top of my list, haha. She’s lovely though! I put her on an old Angel Philia body which matches surprisingly well, but fell over into 5 pieces immediately after taking this photo, haha.

I was really jazzed about the skeleton event heads from Fairyland - older sculpts! But skeletons! I have wanted a Woosoo for a while and skeleton Woosoo is the coolest one possible. I bought the head off someone and was prepared to watch for a WS SD body for a while, but the head was actually shockingly small. I've heard people say that the F60 Lookback heads were small, but they weren't kidding! With Woosoo's already small face, this doll is in proportion with MSDs, not any of my other SDs. I put the head on the WS 50cm Dream Valley body I've had for a while and it looks surprisingly good.

You mentioned in one of your doll posts that you converted strung wrists into magnetic wrists. Can I ask how you did that?? I have an old Minifee that I would much prefer to have magnetic hands and feet.

Hello! It wasn't the most elegant job, I just cut the Resinsoul hands in half (right through the palm) and roughly carved the remainder to fit into the magnetic Minifee hands. Then I stuck some Milliput on there to set a magnet in and make for a tighter fit. They still don't hold very strongly, so I usually use sticky-tac in there too. You could probably do it neater with more patience than me! But I don't know how to do it without totally sacrificing the hand that will become the wrist. I didn't mind doing it with the Resinsoul hands because I was not a fan of the sculpt and they are easy and inexpensive to replace.
