According to the information that was datamined, instead of the line-up of Will, Koga, Bruno, Karen and Lance that we original got as the Generation 2 Elite Four & Champion. We could’ve gotten Giovanni, Bruno, Misty, and Lorelei as the Elite Four, and Lance as the Champion.

I can’t believe we missed out on Misty and Giovanni being Elite Four members!!

This what the line up could have looked like, and imagine the story complications with Giovanni. We could’ve had an Ground, Fighting, Water, Ice Elite Four.
