/ so Globox and other Rayman characters we didn't see in Captain Laswerhawk are confirmed to be alive though I highly doubt anything would come of that so face value & good job I have my own verse instead !

𝐀𝐡  ?  𝐀𝐇  ! Naturally  being  amphibious  he  can  see  underwater  ,  even  if  it  was  his  last  acknowledgement  to  find  the  vegetation  coiled  around  the  sufferer's�� neck  .  -  He  had  only  really  noticed  because  the  strange  creature  was  trying  to  break  free  of  the  bind  in  any  case  .  -  So  he  recalibrates  focus  to  that  pivotal  point  .  Without  teeth  he  has  no  hope  in  chewing  him  free  so  instead  he  tries  to  tear  it  with  his  hands  .

Just  hoping  it  will  be  successful  ,  noticing  that  the  other  was  wearing  a  helmet  of  some  kind  seemed  to  be  helping  with  breathing  and  oxygen  .

The front screen of his helmet flashes a little as he watched the otherworldly being approaching him, he tilts his side curiously, following the amphibian's movements and gestures before understanding.

He wiggles a little to loosen some of the seaweed that was holding him in place with the only one that was life threatening was the one wrapped around his neck just under his helmet, he tries to move his glove less fingers to try to loosen it but was having a bit of trouble.

He didn't mean to become a burden to this helpful frog, he was just surprised by their presence.

❝  Gee , thanks , thank you very much ...  ❞ His  expression  twists  a  little sour .  Maybe he was just a little fragile because he was dealing with a lot right now . He  hadn't  noticed  he  was  coated  in  mud  and  honestly  hadn't  expected  Rayman  to  mind  right  now  ,  ... after a moment of silence and immediate regret he has a change of heart . He  likes  water  at  least  even  if  he  didn't  really  feel  like  it  at  the  moment  with  all  this  grief  .  It  might  actually  be  a   good  idea  to  refamiliarise  himself  with  a  relaxing  volume  of  water  . 

𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥  𝐡𝐞  𝐦𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬  .  ❝  Okay  ...  ❞ And  goes  to  sought  after  the  tub  ,  Globox  honestly  prefers  a  lake  but  given  what  is  left  of  that  particularly  heavy  storm  cloud  he  had  casted  raging  outside  ,  and  the  mud  it  had  upturned  ;  the  bath  was  a  more  immediate  option  . 

By  now  he  had  familiarised  himself  with  how  Rayman's  house  works  ,  right  down  to  the  little  taps  in  this  wet-room  .  It  takes  a  little  while  and  patience  but  he  soon  returns  ,  feeling  a  little  more  relaxed  than  he  had  before  .  He's  a  frog  so  he  didn't  need  a  towel  but  it'd  be  better  than  dripping  water  all  over  Rayman's  floor  .   

He  joins  his  pal  on  the  furniture  . Dragging his feet until he just slumps next to Rayman . ❝ Thank you ... ❞ More sincere now his eyes seem to wander around the room , feeling a little lost in the fog that is his mind .

At least he was somewhat dry, a clean hoodie on but his hair still wet, making it to be from front to back for the weight of the water, it was when he heard the voice of Globox when he got out from his bathroom to see him on the living room.

"Here Globox!"

Thankfully  the  giant  frog  didn't  catch  the  latter's  matter-of-fact  statement  .  He's  been  around  sarcasm  before  ,  so  much  so  that  he  doesn't  hardly  register  it  ,  it's  just  background  noise  ,  that  or  he  didn't  have  the  focus  and  intelligence  to  truly  recognise  it  .  ❝  I  forgive  you  .  ❞

He  only  says  because  there  was  an  apology  mixed  up  in  there  .

❝  Ray  -  ?  !  ❞   His  tone  raises  an  octave  ,  sounding  ecstatic  and  relieved  then  it  doesn't  manifest  any  further  .  Oh  ?  Oh  .  HIS  name  is  also  Ray  .   ❝  Well  ,  my  name's  Globox  !  ❞

“You’re in New York.” He says like it’s obvious- which it was. Then he remembers just who- and what, he’s talking to. Mentally kicking himself for not - c’mon. The frog’s probably terrified outta his mind. His expression softens a touch and his body language relaxes with it. “Sorry. It’s- not fair to expect you to know when you’ve barely been- here, for that long.” My name is Ray fil,” his melody is cut off by a cough and the harsh reminder of first impressions. He’s not scary, then he’ll embarrass himself instead. The words more like a voice in his head heckling him from the crowd than his own. “It’s Ray.”

Awkwardness aside, it allows him to get a better look at the strange frog.. toad? He could be a toad. He’s blue, and is- much bigger than any frog mutant he’s seen. Though admittedly he hasn’t seen many. Lucky he doesn’t seem to be having any injuries, hiding or not. Not where I should be? He’s not sure what that means exactly. Still, he steps backward, facing the other. “…we could help you get back home? There’s a few rivers that eventually lead back to the woods. It’s a pretty long walk, but…” he shrugs. “Do you know where you were before you got mutated?”

" YEAH , i'm a BIG girl today ! " the four year old announces. " I'M NOT SMALL ! " she pouts. " my daddy says i'm really tall now ! "

of course her dad humors her as much as he can , but she hardly knows the difference. she would attempt to say the word globox , but she might misinterpret what he said so instead she resorts to " hi froggy .. " twisting a bit in place while admiring her new friend. " i'm mei , my mom is gonna sleep in MY bed when she comes home from the hospital and not satsuki's bed because i'm a BIG girl now ! " that is a lot of information , but she really is proud of the fact her mom is gonna sleep in her bed rather than her sister's own.

A  giant  mermaid  !  Compared  to  Globox  they  usually  just  came  in  small  and  medium  height  so  giant  was  something  else  .  Still  there's  an  applause  and  he  cheers  for  her  previous  success  !

"Hah! You're looking at the kraken that took on a giant mermaid once, Globox! I bet I could tussle with a couple of mean pirates who don't know better." Little fists are held up as she gently punches the air to make her point. The kraken giggles ever so slightly.

"I'm from Planet Earth." Ruby responds. "I was um....chasing after these little creatures in flying subs. They almost looked like rabbits? Kind of cute but...weird looking. Next thing I knew there was a blinding light and when I came up to the surface I was here." Hands pat at her knees as she frowns slightly.

"I'm sure they know I'm okay. After prom, I started doing big sea adventures and exploring. A way to branch out a little, y'know? Besides there was a way to send me here then obviously there's got to be a way to send me back home, right?"

Yep  ,  he  thought  as  much  she  reminds  him  so  much  of  his  best  friend  sometimes  .  Rayman  struggled  so  hard  with  just  being  vulnerable  .  It  was  okay  accept  things  .  Globox  knows  it'll  take  time  .  For  himself  to  truly  .  He  couldn't  fix  it  .  He  can  only  be  hear  for  her  .

Globox  walks  along  side  her  ,  hooking  Peach  into  a  one  armed  hug  as  they  did  .❝  You  don't  have to  be  afraid  of  weakness  ,  or  letting  people  down  .  ❞  He  laughs  bitterly  . ❝ Look  at  me  !  I  get  scared  a  lot  and  -  I  used  to  be  ashamed  but  Rayman  told  me  that  it  was  okay  .  It's  only  natural  to  feel  -  ❞  He's  lost  any  intelligent  strand  of  thought  he  may  have  had  though  saves  it  by  lightly  shrugging  and  humming  . ❝  Not  okay  . ❞

/ i have no idea when scepter of leptys is out but let me tell you I'm gonna have so much muse for Globox when it gets here ! I don't care how long we gotta wait it looks so good hopefully we will also get official Rayman news one day too ;-;

Globox  nodded  and  said  his  goodbyes  ,  thankful  that  Rayman  cares  about  Globox's  feelings  even  if  he  doesn't  understand  them  .  He's  probably  been  there  for  longer  than  he  anticipated  ,  just  staring  blankly  after  all  that  was  said  and  done  .

It  was  starting  to  get  dark  and  he  knew  he  was  not  in  the  right  state  of  mind  to  back  home  to  his  wife  and  children  just  yet  .  He  would  have  to  take  up  on  Rayman's  offer  to  meet  at  HIS  house  instead  .  So  he  treks  through  the  mud  and  rain  towards  his  best  friends'  house  .  𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞  𝐡𝐞  𝐡𝐚𝐝  𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲  𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝  𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬  𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧  ?  𝐎𝐫  𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞  𝐭𝐡𝐞  𝐬𝐤𝐲  𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭  𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰  𝐨𝐟  𝐡𝐢𝐬  𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰  𝐚𝐧𝐝  𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟  𝐚𝐧𝐝  𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝  𝐭𝐨  𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞  .

Darkness  turns  to  murky  swamp  water  ,  Globox  splashes  ,  a  quick  recovery  as  he's  more  than  equipt  for  most  water  ,  albeit  this  was  vile  swamp  water  .  Gross  .

This  bog  is  familiar  and  infamous  for  all  the  wrong  reasons  all  the  same  .  Hunters  and  witches  live  here  .  More  specifically;  Count  Razoff  and  Bégoniax  .  A  hunter  of  large  formidable  creatures  and  a  witch  that  turns  her  victims  into  toads  ...  okay  so  Globox  didn't  have  to  worry  about  being  turned  into  a  toad  .  Still  ,  this  was  no  place  for  children  of  either  species  .  It  wasn't  safe  .  ...  Not  to  mention  Rabbids  were  here  too  .

𝐎𝐧𝐞  𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞𝐝  𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝  𝐢𝐬  𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥  𝐚  𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞  𝐚𝐬  𝐟𝐚𝐫  𝐚𝐬  𝐡𝐞'𝐬  𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝  .  𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠  𝐭𝐡𝐞  𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝  𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥  𝐟𝐨𝐫  𝐡𝐢𝐦  ,  𝐡𝐞  𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬  𝐭𝐡𝐞  𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝  𝐚𝐧𝐝  𝐡𝐢𝐬  𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝  𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐬  𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨  𝐭𝐡𝐞  𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧  .He  rushes  towards  him  ,  wading  through  the  water  and  scooping  him  up  into  his  arms  .  ❝ Globber!  ❞   He  spins  the  tadpole  around  ,  tears  brimming  at  his  eyes  .

He  turns  to  Bowser  .  ❝  Where  there's  one  there's  more  .  The  rest  and  your  child  have  to  be  around  here  somewhere.  ❞  It  was  a  matter  of  reassuring  himself  as  well  as  the  Koopa  King  .

Back to little Globber . ❝  It's good to see you , my little one , have you seen where the others went ? Did you see a small boy with a spikey shell with them too ? We're very worried .  ❞

Darkness swallowed them up. A lazy river evolves into rapids, sucking the air out of worn lungs. Whipping twists and turns bash the giants against the walls! They are falling once more! A stern grip on the shoulders is a coaxing push - they will find the kids at the end of this road!

Finally, torchlight breaks up the darkness. Spit from a large industrial tube, the two are dropped like trash into a revolting swamp. Trees shine eerie orange beacons into the polluted water. Broken boardwalks are hardly sturdy enough to hold limbless heroes. It is an environment Globox may yet recognized: they have been dropped into The Bog of Murk: Rabbid edition.

Fortunately, the two had landed in the shallow end. The muck felt like quicksand!... Until Bowser had stretched far enough to realize his feet touched the bottom. He eventually tore his living raft up as well.

There is a prize for their descent. The child counter at last shoots from 0 to 1/51! A miniature Globox was jumping up and down beside an outhouse, desperately trying to get Daddy's attention!

"DAD!"
