Tick: When I said bring me something back from the beach I meant like a conch shell!
Saber: *Struggling to hold a seagull* fucking say that next time!
---
Zoom: Just took a personality test and got an A+.
---
Saber: I haven't slept in seventy-three hours.
Hardcase: Eighty. Democratically elected leader of insomnia.
Karma: Bitch, it's been ninety for me. I'm going for an even one hundred.
Sonoya: You guys are fucking terrifying.
---
Vine: I need life advice.
Karma, sipping Gatorade and eating cookie dough: You came to the right person.
---
Sonoya: How would you guys deal with a toxic friend?
Slapstick: Tell them how you really feel.
Clicks: Slowly distance yourself from them.
Karma: Engage in a 1v1 sword battle and if they lose they have to stop being toxic or pay the price.
Sonoya, being handed a sword: …well heck.
---
Splint: Many people are mildly dehydrated and don’t realize it. You should drink at least six glasses of water per day.
Slapstick: No, eight glasses!
Sonoya: I heard ten.
Clicks: You need to drink at least five glasses of water per minute.
later…
Glaze: Okay, I just read through every study I could find to try to figure out whether low-grade dehydration is even a real thing.
Splint: What did you learn?
Glaze: If you spend all day doing research and forget to eat or drink, you start to feel pretty bad.
Slapstick: I’ll get some water.
Glaze: But how many glas–whoa, feeling dizzy.
Kree: Maybe you should just drink straight from the tap.
---
Karma: Glaze? Vod? u ok?
Glaze: *vibrating into the nth dimension"

Incorrect Quotes
Glaze: A mosquito tried to bite me and I slapped it and killed it.
Glaze: And I started thinking.
Glaze: Like, it was just trying to get food.
Glaze: What if I went to the fridge and it just slammed the door shut and snapped my neck?
Ghost: Are you ok?
-
Splint: Clicks, you look deep in thought. What’s wrong?
Clicks: Did you know you can look at any object and know what it’s like to lick it? Even if you’ve never touched it before?
Splint: I’m never asking you anything ever again.
-
Gemma: So, did everyone learn their lesson?
Ghost: No.
Glaze: I did not.
Hardcase: I may have actually forgotten one.
Karma: Also no.
Gemma: Oh good, neither did I.
Alpha-29: *Exhausted sigh*
-
Karma: I’m not lazy, I just find it hard to put effort into things I’m not passionate about.
Ghost: What are you passionate about?
Karma: Sleeping.
-
Kree: I found a note in one of my old word .docs that said Note to self: Get revenge on Clicks.
Kree: Except I couldn't remember what I was supposed to get revenge for.
Kree: But I trusted my own judgment, so I went with it.
Clicks: Hmm... I don't know what you were supposed to get revenge for, either.
Kree: I can only assume you got what was coming to you. Not 100 percent sure, though.
Clicks: Well, whatever I did, I guess I deserved it.
Kree: Let that possibly be a lesson to you.
-
Hardcase: I like to think of myself as a semi responsible adult here.
Slapstick: Clicks is 70% of your impulse control and you know this Hardcase.
Clicks: I feel like Hardcase is the more responsible one of us two though.
Hardcase: We are both 70% of each others' impulse control.
Slapstick: Just two lil beasts in pinwheel hats spinning on the merry-go-round at dangerous velocities, holding each other’s hands so the other doesn’t fall off.
-
Glaze: I only have two emotions: exhaustion and stress. And I’m somehow always feeling both simultaneously.
-
Karm: A pessimist sees a dark tunnel.
Sonoya: An optimist sees light at the end of the tunnel.
Kree: A realist sees a freight train.
Alpha-29: The train driver sees three idiots standing on the tracks.
-
And finally, in honour of @justaharefic and their amazing Star Wars SI that inspired my fic:
Glaze: So I was just having a conversation with Hare about Star Wars; particularly, about the choice of architecture. The amount of people who die from falling down bottomless pits is TOO DAMN HIGH! Like, who designs architecture like this? Catwalks with no guard rails whatsoever, just zigging and zagging through enormous voids. Giant holes to nowhere!
Hare: It's by design. It's a cleaner look, for a more elegant time.
Glaze: Like... who the fuck put this hole here???? And why????
Hare: Exhaust?
Glaze: Darth Maul falls down a hole, Palpatine falls down a hole, Solo falls down a hole, everyone falls down a hole! Star Wars universe needs OSHA.
Hare: Luke falls down a hole, Boba Fett falls down a hole…
Glaze: Yes, yes, I forgot about those! R2-D2 falls down a hole in the Millenium Falcon after he fixes the hyperdrive.
Hare: We're onto something here!
Glaze: Obi-Wan almost falls down a hole.
Hare: C-3PO falls off the barge into the sand. Pretty close to falling down a hole.
Glaze: His lightsaber does though.
*Hare thinks hard about what other Star Wars Characters fall down holes*
Glaze: What if the hole is symbolic? The hole represents the dark side.
Hare: Nah, doesn't work. Luke chooses to fall down the hole instead of joining Vader/The Dark Side.
Glaze: Fair point.

'Canon' Character Headcanons
-99 has low-level force sensitivity, he is hyper-empathetic, has really good instincts and the occasional premonition or vision.
-Rex was trained in a separate batch to the command batch, but they all semi-adopted him and he followed them around all the time in his free and social periods, and occasionally snuck into their barracks to cuddle with them.
-Rex constantly talks about his Torrents to the CCs. (when they manage to make a chat in order to do this)
-Rex was in the same batch as Keeli and Howzer. Sometimes he dragged them along with him to cuddle with the CCs
-Anakin is buddies with all the engineers. Not just the Torrent ones, ALL of them.
-Fives and Echo are both from the same batch, but not the same one as Hevy, Cutup and Droidbait
-Fives and Echo unconsciously adopted their joker attitudes and fierce independent streak to honour Hevy and Cutup, and became fiercely protective of more nervous/timid troopers because they remind them of Droidbait. (If you remember the ‘rookies’ episode, those two were pretty rigid while Hevy and Cutup were the maverick ones and Droidbait was the most nervous/shy one, constantly doubting himself which was why he always got shot.) The personality change was quite small at first (they’re still more or less the same in the Battle of Kamino) but became extremely apparent after they both came back from ARC training.
-Headcanon that the Domino twins basically adopted Tup and Dogma (I see Fives’ anger at Dogma on Umbara in canon was more to do with the stress of the campaign making him irritable and saying things he maybe didn’t mean rather than a genuine dislike. Also, Dogma did lead the firing squad. I came to the conclusion that they both cared for each other quite deeply after seeing Fives release Dogma from the cell in the scene where Krell died, Fives was quite gentle with him). Echo’s death in canon only made Fives more protective of those two, so when Tup died, Fives’ grief contributed to his frantic and erratic behaviour and terrible planning as well as the drugs he had been injected with.

OC headcanons
-Tick and Tock, from batch 70 (Glaze’s batch) are both in the same squad
-Hardcase and Slapstick were both put in the same squad
-Glaze hates caf. HATES it. Unlike most other officers, she is determined to get all her work done without relying on it to stay awake. (In case it isn't clear, she is very much a tea person and the lack of tea in her immediate vicinity is very stressful to her. She had not yet worked up the courage to approach Obi-Wan about this pertinent issue and probably never will)
-There is not a single day in the Torrent Engineering bay in which someone does not either cut or burn themselves with a tool. It gets to the point where Glaze requisitions a medpack to be kept there permanently so they can stop bothering the medics with minor injuries.
-Glaze is also very protective of shinies, although she doesn’t show it verbally.
-Splint keeps up a running conversation with all his patients to distract them from their injuries while he patches them up. Unless the patients are annoying (looking at you, Domino Squad)
-Rex, Gale, Mar and Jonah (501st captains) all work together to make a training rota for Ahsoka to help her bond with the battalion.
-Glaze is seriously considering adopting a tooka and naming them ‘Slick’ just to rub it in Slick’s face how cat-like he is.

A Whole Bunch of General Clone Headcanons
-Each battalion is 4 companies, each headed by a captain, and 1 commander (+some exceptions like the corries guard which is four ~sections~ not exactly companies but each has a commander)
-Usually there is a clone commander. If there is a padawan, they become like a co-commander (501st is the exception with no clone commander, only Ahsoka)
-Each Batch is of 20 clones. Their training is supervised by an Alpha until their 5th growth cycle (when they are biologically 10). Then they are split up for specialisation/squad training for troopers etc
-The designations of each trooper that we normally hear are randomly assigned (5555, 7567, 2224 etc). BUT each has a prefix which tells which batch they are from. The prefix is only used when needed i.e. when the Kaminoans are doing tests etc. So Glaze, being from batch 70, would be CT-70-1911. Fives is 27-5555 so I headcanon that he is from batch 27. Maybe they have another number prefix that shows what generation they are from? And maybe letters or numbers showing certain differences (e.g. Commander vs Commando vs Trooper)?? If Glaze is gen 1, she would be CT-1-70-1911. Someone else, like Hardcase, would be CT-1-70-9415. Maybe Fives (as I headcanon him to be younger than Glaze) is CT-2-27-5555. (I’m just going to pretend that Echo’s number is 1409 and has been the whole time because I really can’t be bothered to find a way around his canon number change)
-CC troopers are different genetically and educationally to CT troopers, and so are  Commando troopers. They are still ‘regular’ clones, but they have different enhancements, conditioning etc.
-Headcanon that CC-troopers are trained/conditioned to be very protective of the CTs, to avoid taking unnecessary risks while strategizing. Sadly, this leads to a not insignificant amount of emotional distress during the war.
-The main Kaminoan strategy for dealing with the clones’ mental health was pretending that it didn’t exist, since the clones aren't ‘technically sentient’
-Clones had ‘social enrichment’ classes that were introduced by some of the nicer trainers as a way to temper this a bit. They were not supervised or scored by the Kaminoans, so they were the only part of training Glaze could escape without fear of punishment.
-Clone cadets are subjected to ‘pain simulations’ of various injuries they could receive in battle to get used to moving around while in pain.
-Squads are more or less randomly assigned - there may or may not be some batchmates together or not
-All clones, even ‘non combatants’ have armour and all keep up combat training, organised by the captains/commanders of their respective companies/divisions. This includes medics, pilots, ‘soft shells’ etc. Of course, active combatants will have more practice and therefore likely to be more skilled at fighting, shooting etc but basic training is kept up to standards and those standards are High
-Clones have different nutritional requirements to regular humans, so their rations are specifically designed for this. They CAN eat regular food, but they can’t survive off it solely, without some form of supplements. They won’t starve to death, but it will negatively impact their health quite a bit (lack of energy, weight loss, all that fun stuff).
-Jedi have a personal allowance allocated by whoever is in charge of temple finances. Many Jedi use this to buy treats/gifts for their troopers.
-There is also a ‘main’ jedi allowance, separate from war funds, that Knights and Masters can dip into if needed.
-Standard clone armour can withstand 3-4 shots in one area from a standard battle droid blaster. One kill shot from a standard republic blaster will instantly penetrate the armour. There are exceptions for commando armour, commando/other battle droids, specialised weapons (e.g. rotary blasters) etc but this is the rule for bog-standard clone armour and blasters. The bodyglove is not blasterproof and is made of synthetic material so will melt if shot.
-Strangely enough, clone armour is REALLY good at shock absorption. Clones have been chucked around and hit my many blunt kinetic projectiles and survived unscathed or with minor injuries. But for some reason this means that the armour does not have some of the needed protection against blaster bolts. It’s not useless, but it’s nowhere near, say, traditional mandalorian armour (even ones not made from beskar).
-Blaster wounds don’t bleed out, but they do ooze a bit of blood. Penetration depth of the blaster bolt depends on the blaster (standard republic blasters make a bigger hole than standard droid blasters). If you are shot, you will die due to the damage done to your internal organs, not through any sort of blood loss. So flesh wounds (provided that they are properly patched up) are pretty easy to recover from. A clone is more likely to die from being stabbed in the shoulder than by being shot in the same place.
-Each company has a CMO and a bunch of medics per company who report to them. Each company has combat medics, who work on the battlefield, and ones who stay mostly in the medbay/med tents. The CMO and their second in command does both, depending on where they are needed. Again, there are exceptions for some divisions like the Corries, Kamino Guard, Spec Ops etc
-Each company has an engineering division with a Chief Engineer and SIC. The specialised divisions (weapons, communications etc) each have their own officers who report to Chief Engineer, but they are more or less autonomous. So slicers are ~technically~ engineers although they are usually seen as separate.

Note:
All of my knowledge about the Alphas, Nulls, Skirata, Mando'a, Kaminoan procedures etc come from fanfic and/or Wookiepedia and I will be cherry-picking stuff that I like so don't expect any sort of accuracy.
I may also mess with 'canon' a bit - not enough that it's unrecognisable but there are certain aspects of characters' backgouds etc that I may tweak, either because it works better with my story or because I didn't like the way it was done in canon (see author's note on chapt 5 of The Clone Who Knew Too Much). This means that the 'default' canon (before Glaze makes any changes) will not be EXACTLY the same as on screen, but I won't alter it so much that the difference affects any major events (it's all in the subtext, folks).
