Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Prelude to the The 8th edition of International Day of Yoga with the theme “Yoga for Humanity” was celebrated by the GL Bajaj Institute of Management, Greater Noida in association with Bhartiya Yog Sansthan with great enthusiasm along with YOGUTSAV 2022 Challenges which includes Surya Namaskar challenge, Plank Challenge and Push up Challenge. More than 150 Yoga sadhaks from Greater Noida had participated in the program.

The celebrations of the 8th International Yoga Day at #glbim were graced by the presence of Bhartiya Yog Sansthan members, Principal sir followed by other faculty, staff members and students. They actively participated in the event, paying close attention to all the asanas being performed.

Participants practiced the asana’s with great enthusiasm and excitement followed by pranayama and meditation.

The aim of the celebration was to enlighten #GLBIANS about the countless benefits that yoga has to offer with a strong belief that they can best shape the future of a Youth. Yoga Day is celebrated among the youth and children to make them understand the importance of Yoga in their life. It helps the students understand how to maintain harmony between body and mind. The yoga expert taught some important physical, mental, and spiritual practices to the participants which would help the participants in improving their health by increasing blood flow and boosting immunity.

The event concluded with a refreshment to the Participants.

To bring out the cooperative and caring side, towards social outreach the students of #BCA and #BBA organized a Community Service Campaign in association with Centre for Social Change.

GL Bajaj Institute of Management, Greater Noida firmly believes that our little acts of social service and understanding human values can bring about a positive social change.

#glbim organized a Community Service Campaign - Clothes Distribution Drive in association with Centre for Social Change. The Drive duration was from 4th June 2022.

The purpose of this activity is to provide clothes to the needy and poor Tribal Children, Families. The students were very enthusiastic about the drive as they were happy after experiencing the cheerful and happy faces of the children in tribal community. The villagers accepted all the clothes without any grudging which were distributed by GLBIM Volunteers.

On the whole, the drive was very fruitful for the villagers. As a result, they appeared very much positive and supportive about the program when they witnessed sympathy and painstaking efforts for underprivileged children.
