You know, being Caroline taught me a valuable lesson  I thought you were my greatest enemy. When all along you were my best friend. The surge of emotion that shot through me when I saved your life taught me an even more valuable lesson:  where Caroline lives in my brain.

                  Oh how the pieces of the puzzles were falling into place. She could                   tell the brunette was coming to a realization once the ‘droid heard the                   shakiness in her voice; practically trembling as she repeated the last                  bit of the creations name. As if she knew exactly the type of machine                  she was, or what was done.                  Watching her expression drop did she make an assumption of just who                  this woman was, Yes--&& it it was it made all sense. If this was really                  her than would just not be some sort of strange paradox, but it also would                  quite the turn of events. Never once did she expect to be face to face with                   the CAROLINE he created her personality to be. “ Now that that’s out of the way, why don’t we get your name?                                                               Let me make my guesses, first.                                                                                                        Is it CAROLINE? “

        Caroline examined the android further; it was almost HORRIFYING to see something as close to her, but more cutthroat, more… Was that EVIL? No, corrupt. Science wasn’t EVIL, only people were. She stepped back, turning her head away as not to face the truth, though it was obvious and - quite literally - staring her right in the face.

          Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System. GLaDOS. 

     Things were STARTING to make sense.

                  “—Disk Operating System… Oh.”

            All of the color LEFT her face, and she took a step back. SOMEWHERE, in SOME universe…

                  Perhaps their thoughts wern’t mutual, or atleast on the same                         level, but her voice defiantly was one she heard before even                         when she was racked with voices from the several cores they’d                         pack onto her to give her more personalities. Her voice was sickingly                         close to her && it only made her want to ask more; oh when she learned                         her name, perhaps that’d make things easier. However, she was aked                        first && there was only one answer she would give her.                                  “  Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System “                                                                  —GLaDOS

          She was a MARVEL. Artificial Intelligence, sure, but a DREAM. An android. Almost… Identical? Strange. Caroline wanted to get a close look, to record what she was seeing. An odd sense of DREAD bubbled up within her as she looked the miracle up and down, heart pounding within her chest. Her voice was like hers, too. Lower, though. More condescending, more COLD. Though… She would smile, despite this. To show that she was a FRIEND.

               “I’m sure I don’t know what you mean… Might I ask what you’re called?”

         Caroline DREADED the answer.

                   Well this seemed quite strange. One could say these two                          shared many qualities from appearance down to personality,                          but they certinaly didn’t know eachother. Yet--apart of her felt                          like she knew this woman before he for her entire life. How                          strange; she never quite needed friends so why were these                         feelings evident? A gloved finger raised, tapping at lush lips                         as sharp eyes as she looked the woman up && down, observing                         her as if she was a new test subject.           “ My, my. We don’t even know eachother.                           Yet I get this sinking feeling that I’ve known you my whooollee life. “
