elijah didn't know how long he had been waiting there. he checked his watch and he saw that another fifteen minutes had passed by. they did say to come meet here at 8 pm, right? he looked up at the clock and realized that he would have been waiting for for a good 45 minutes. elijah was a patient man, but even with him, he couldn't give any more time. maybe he'd give them fifteen more minutes and if they don't make it, he'd leave. he takes a sip of his drink and he waits, before turning to the person that sat next to him. jupiter really didn't feel like going out, not tonight. but some convincing and he forced a smile and got ready to go. it was chilly, wore a comfortable flannel shirt, and the denim jacket over, and some comfortable pants. when they arrived, jupiter seemed to gravitate towards the fire. even when their friend was out to chat with other people, jupiter stayed. he looked over to the man that took a seat across from him and he gave him a soft smile. but jupiter didn't say anything. but he kept glancing up at the man occasionally.

kai was glad that he had the next couple days off. fighting fires was fun, but even he is starting to think if it was all a good idea, being a vampire an all. but he enjoyed saving lives, and he didn't want to give up on that. he felt like he did a lot of good. he looked over at the other male and he nodded, before taking a swig of his beer. gabe woke up. he had the best sleep in a long time. but maybe it was due to being back in his apartment after months of being away, and having the vampire gone for a couple days. of course, he was exhausted after the night activities that he completely forgot the man that was next to him. he got out of bed and he turned to him. " alright, yea, this–– we definitely can't do this again. " he stated. he goes to find his underwear and quickly puts it on. " so–– umm, please leave? "

gabriel hadn't seen in three days. and after the third day, he was worried that the vampire was in trouble, or possibly dead. gabe definitely was worried, which he never thought he'd actually care. but here he was, laying in bed, and he sighed. he couldn't sleep now. and it wasn't like he was a witch where he could try to find him on a map with magic. he was just a little human, ricardo's words. but when he heard the door open, and the weight of the bed shift, he turned to look up at rico.

everything he said, he ignored. even though he brought flowers and chocolate... of course he'd bring chocolate, his fucking favorite. " where have you been? three day's ricardo? you were gone for three days, without communication. you know, we have these things called cell phones, you could have texted, " he groaned. god, he was caring too much for this vampire.

After his three-day excursion, Rico finally returns to his estate. Well, it's too small to be called an estate and it technically belongs to Gabriel, but Gabriel is his retainer so by extension, the place is his. As much as Rico found the place quaint and adorable, it was far too tiny to be cooped up in. So for the last three days, he roamed the town looking for a mansion or an actual estate he could purchase, checked out the chateau and explored.

Rico doesn't announcement himself since it is quite late and he has reminded himself humans need to sleep periodically. Instead, he enters the bedchamber without making a sound and finds the young man sleeping. The prince sits on the edge of the bed, and pokes Gabriel in the cheek. "Gabriel, look. I brought you some chocolate from the town. And some flowers so you can decorate the house." He lifts the bag in his hand with a grin. "Where do you keep your vases? A nice crystal one would do. Also, how do I purchase an estate these days? I saw a few houses I'd like to own."

artemis was the third child, second son in the finch family. he felt like he didn't need to worry about his position in their coven. he had his older brother, and then his older sister.

leadership was something he didn't need to worry about, but when his older brother lacked powers, he was closer in line to becoming supreme of their coven, which artemis wanted nothing to do with. he loved his magic, but he just wanted to have his fun.

after the death of their mother, it was clear that his father wanted lysander dead. he was a siphoner, a huge disgrace to the family, and he blamed the death on him.

artemis knew that his brother would never kill their mom. their mother loving all of them, including lysander, not caring that he was a siphoner. artie was there when it all happened, getting small flashbacks, but never the whole pictures, like some kind of fog was hiding the real truth.

after his brother escaped his own death, the remaining finch siblings knew that their own father had gone mad. but they were afraid to ever say anything to him, fear of how he would react.

years had passed, and it was clear that someone else had to become the supreme. phoebe was next in line, but she refused to be part of a coven that would kill their own without trying to find the truth.

artemis and apollonia were next in line. the twins realizing that one of them would have to become the next supreme. it was clear though that his father had favored artemis, and artemis felt like he had this burden he had to carry. the crown falling on him, but he never wanted it in the first place.

even with the whole witch thing happening, artemis was focused on living his life, trying to find what he wants to do with his life. so when he told his father that perhaps alexandria could be the best place to be, he was given the permission to move out there and investigate if anyone may known the whereabouts of his brother.

when he discovered that his brother was there, he informed his father the opposite, saying he may need more time in the city.

he hopes that lysander would let him in his life, and hope that with his help, they could siphon the magic that was blocking his memory, so they could find the truth of what happened the night their mother was killed.

for a hopeless romantic, elijah james ullman always found the beauty in everything. his parents had met when they were both studying for medicine, fell in love, and excelled in their medical fields. their love story was one for the books. this was of course many centuries ago.

ej loved hearing about their love story, and he loved that they were still ambitious and love the work that they did, and he was the product of their love.

elijah james ullman was born into phoenix, just like his dad blaise. it was something that he always fear, realizing that when he died, a new version of himself would be born and his old self would be lost forever.

growing up, ej was one who was very in touch with his emotions. he was a vibrant child, who was very imaginative, but also sensitive. his parents worried though that their son would be taken advantage of with all his characteristics he showed.

ej was a daydreamer, and unrealistic paths ended up becoming something he dealt with a lot. becoming an older brother helped with realizing he had to become more realistic, that eventually he became very self-critical with things he did.

even with all that, being a phoenix was something he was good at. controlling his abilities, learning new ones. but one thing he didn't want was the memories that would one day come crashing in. he was afraid of the decisions he might have done in his past life. or maybe it was so good, he'd be sad of what he had lost.

as he got older, he decided that he wanted to follow in his parents footsteps, doctors, what was new? so he went to college for it, and took all the years for him to finally get his medical license.

for a long time he debated whether he wanted to be a brain surgeon like his father or a heart surgeon like his mother, but he discovered that he was good with kids. so he decided paeds was what he'd do. helping children of all kinds.

now that he was reaching his first half century, he finds himself wanting some change. maybe he's been wanting to find love like his parents, or maybe he feels being a doctor isn't for him. he's still figuring it out.

growing up in a houshold where following your dreams end up being a reality, gabriel really felt like anything he strived for could be easily achieved.

gabriel had a lot of different interests, but photography was the main thing that he loved the most, and his parents supported it.

when gabriel was ten, his parents were starting to struggle financially, and eventually things didn't work out between them.

gabe decided to stay with his mother in alexandria, while his father left and his older siblings deciding to stay with him.

when gabe was thirteen, he started to find ways to get some quick money, wanting to make sure he could help his mother with some bills. most times it was stealing stuff.

turning sixteen, gabriel started to dabble with enhanced abilities. it was the fact that everyone in this town was special, and being human and having nothing to offer.

one night, he had been out too late, on a job not knowing that back home, someone had broken in, thinking it was empty, all for an item that his family had for centuries.

the item in question was a old pendant that gabriel was wearing. it is unknown why it was wanted.

when gabriel arrived home, he saw the disaster, and then he found his mother dead, and when he saw the blood, and the two holes on her neck, he vowed himself to find the vampire that did this to her.

gabriel didn't want to be placed in the foster care system, so he lied saying his father would be in charge of helping, but his father wasn't in his life so he was alone dealing with all of this.

eventually gabe was homeless, living in his car. he found a job, continued with the stealing and heisting, and eventually got enough money to find a small studio apartment.

gabe dropped out of high school, no college, and focused a lot on finding the vampire that killed his mother. when gabe was twenty-five, he had found him, and then killed him. his revenge came, but he didn't feel any better.

gabe continued to do little heists, breaking in to steal, and eventually found himself breaking into the wrong home where he met a vampire prince who spared his life.

now he helps the prince acclimate, and is starting to actually like him, even though he is a vampire. being with him, gabe didn't feel so alone in this world.

julian cortez was born on november 2nd, 1998.   as siphoner, it was very ironic that his birthday ended up being on dia de los muertos.   how ironic it was that he himself was a little dead inside knowing he had no powers of his own. he wasn't fully there.

julian was born in a powerful witch coven, one that was proud of their powers. and julian was excited for when he would show magical abilities of his own, but when nothing came, he felt like the odd one out amongst his coven.

the day he discovered his powers, he was terrified.   he had the ability to do everything witches do, but he had no actual magic of his own. when he siphoned his older brother, that was when everything changed. he was only thirteen.

that whole time, he stayed quiet about his powers. he knew what it meant to be a siphoner, and his older brother was so protective over julian, so he kept it quiet, telling julian to keep acting like he was just human and the magic had skipped him. that was better than their parents finding out the truth.

his older brother made sure that every morning julian can siphon a little bit of magic for julian to store for the day, so that he can use it for protection. and most times julian just practiced his magic here and there before the magic was gone for the day.

for the next few years, julian did stay low. but he was so curious about his power. so he practice with the little magic that his brother let him siphon.

for years, julian felt broken, getting frustrated when the magic was gone, feeling like he wasn't whole.   but when he did nursing school, it had become the one thing that had helped him, because he wanted to do good, and thought the only way he could help was to ease those that needed it, help them to go on their way to a healthier and better self.

in college, he met a fellow supernatural, who never judged him, who got close with. with their help, julian got to siphon a bit of magic from him so that he could at least learn a little more advance stuff.

he graduated nursing school, even if it took longer than most.  but he did that.  and when he got a job offer at alexandria, where he was eyeing, finding out there were people like him. he was rather excited, knowing that he wasn't alone.

HOSPITAL BEST FRIEND:  seeing as julian was completely new, he had no friends in the city.  so he gets close to some of the people in the hospital.   eventually he makes a few good friends at the hospital, but one he is closest with. they often go get drinks after work.

the randolph name, it was a name that people have known very well since the 1800s. they were old money, and each generation adds on to pile of money.

jupiter was born in new york to one charles randolph and isabel flores. all jupiter has known was the richest that came from being part of the randolph family.

not much is known about his mother, but living with his father, he had known his constant bringing of new step-mothers, who jupiter always avoided.

he felt lonely, especially since his brother had his own life while jupiter was stuck living with their father.

growing up, jupiter had more privileges than many. he started doing modeling, and eventually used that and social media to create a platform for himself. but he struggled with his image when the hates started pouring in.

jupiter felt the need to achieve perfection. he hated his body, the way he looked, the way that he was the black sheep, brown skin against next to light skin. he was just too different.

jupiter continued his content creating, even during college, and he gained a good following. he enjoyed the spotlight, but he didn't always actively go for it. his best friend was really the one that wanted it more than him.

jupiter always felt like he was different his whole life, but when he turned twenty four, he found himself discovering about who he was. a nephilim. half human, half angel. and all the small strange things had made sense.

after discovering who he was, he found himself a town that contained supernaturals of all kinds, so he ending up moving there, wanting to start a new life, and hopefully find more answers about who he was.

malina latu was born on febuary 25, 1996.   nothing really special that day, but for her mom it meant finally starting a family of her own.   even if the father was never in the picture.  malina was a miracle child. her mother had lost two babies in the womb before she was born.

mal was born a witch.

mal knew she was different. on the inside was not matching with her outside. so when she was very young, she told people that she preferred being called mal or malikai, or just kai.

kai started dressing up very tomboyish and he felt more like himself. most of his friends when he was younger became guys, and he himself became one of the guys.

kai was brought up to always respect his elders, those that were wise, and had plenty knowledge to give out.  but he was also taught to fight for his battles, and stick up for himself and stick up to those that weren’t able to do for themselves.

growing up without a father was always hard for kai, wishing that he had a man to look up to.  he was soft in his beginning years, but eventually things happened to him where he became hardened, making him have thicker skin.

kai always knew for a long time that he was different. he knew he was a male. so when he was fifteen he came out as trans. and after coming out to his mother, and telling her that he wanted to start his transition to a man, thanks to her, he was able to.

kai's legal name changed to malikai everett latu, and he had finished his full transition as a male when he was eighteen. he even felt stronger as a witch, and he never felt more himself in this stage.

he lost his mother when he was nineteen, and kai felt like his world had ended.  he had started to break more and more, using sex as a tool to numb the pain.

he started working out more, not wanting the depression, due to his loss of his mother and the insecurities of not being man enough. he eventually started to become a little toxic. becoming very masculine, cocky, etc.  

when kai was 21, he was tired of feeling alone in this world, and wondered about his father. was he alive? and if so why did he leave? and if he was, where had he been living this whole time?

when kai met a man stating that he knew the information of where his father was, it was like his old self was creeping back again.  he was given the name of the city he was at and that was it.

a few months later, kai moved to alexandria, and has been living there for seven years now.

after months with no information, kai felt like he had lost all hope. at this point, his father was probably dead, and he started to get more and more angry with the world.

on may 27, 2018, kai was declared dead.

the thing about death was, there could be ways of bringing them back to life, and having the blood of a vampire in your system meant you had a second chance.

kai had turned into a vampire.

his life was changed, but that meant it had to be a burden. he became a firefighter, always finding some way to prove to himself that he was still a person and not a monster he had become.

he is still seeking for the man that turned him, and hopes that one day he could find his father.
