I got caught up with TD after the S7 MSF. I was looking into theories about who Boots could be and was open to the idea that it could be Beth (I am VERY gullible). After it turned it out not to be Beth, honestly it was disappointing because BGWP and BGIHU were SO sure it was her and I got my hopes up. And now they keep pushing back when Beth will return and people will still believe them and keep being disappointed. They don't realize what they're doing to people.

Well guess what, you're absolutely right, you aren't saying anything. This is Lydia the daughter of fucking Alpha. The Whisperer most likely won't show up until s8b or even s9a. Here's another thing that you aren't saying: "Lydia" either is already in the show in form of Enid, who would be than a mix between comic book sophia and Comic Lydia OR TPTB is going to cast an entire new person to introduce Lydia as her own standalone character. It wouldn't even made sense to put Beth into this position because a shitload of dynamic between Lydia and Carl comes from lydias mother-Daughter relationship. Alpha needs to be the strong leader but at the same time wants a better, more happy life for her daughter, and lydia starts to take no shit from her again, starts her own rebellion against her mother and chooses to stay with Carl. Beth doesn't got any of this. So calm the fuck down, learn your TWD and assemble some self respect before you keep making a giant idiot out of yourself.

If any Team D people are feeling down and starting to second guess themselves, just realize that even though it sucks: the longer we wait for Beth’s return the more plausible her story will be. But I do understand the mental swing it can have on this team when episode after episode we don’t see Beth alive and well. I’ve loved the story and the path it’s taking. It’s getting closer to the Whisperers storyline. I’m not saying anything but….. 😉

Season 8 (and beyond)

Since season 7 ended, and as I do my rewatch of the entire series, I can’t help but wonder what is to come for The Walking Dead (tv show). This is inspired by watching the youtuber MOVIEidol’s video “The Walking Dead Season 8 - 11 Predictions! COMPLETE COMIC ADAPTATION!”, I highly recommend watching it, as it is very thorough (not saying I agree with all of it, but it’s definitely interesting to see all the comic book events adapted to what could happen the show). **Show and comic spoilers ahead**
