“go early, it’s hard to find parking” you want public transit. “don’t go on weekends, traffic is terrible” you want public transit. “once i parked i had to walk half a mile to the entrance” you want public transit. “it took me an hour to get out of the area after the concert” you want public transit. “ugh somebody needs to DD” you want public transit. “can you drive? my car won’t start” you want public transit. you want public transit. you want public transit. you want public transit.

they should make a version of socializing that doesn’t make you feel like you’re still the weird 12 year old kid that doesn’t know why she’s not normal like the other kids

This is wonderfully put!
To expand a little bit about how HDG is a disability narrative: HDG, as a setting, is very much informed by my own experiences of infantilization as a disabled person over the course of my life.
The setting 'mirrors' this into a shape where certain untruths told to the disabled to justify our infantilization and marginalization are instead true. Which is to say, that these things are being done with our best interests in mind and are actually for our own good and we will be cared for (in a way that is good for us). (As opposed to reality, where they very often aren't)
Probably dumb question, but how would the Affini domesticate a nearly full-conversion cyborg like Raiden Metal Gear with little biology left to speak of?
The Affini Compact's mastery of technology and the digital domain in general far surpasses any equivalent human technology. Cyborgs, androids and digital sapients have all been domesticated a hundred times over. Rather than inject a xenodrug into the blood vessels of a cute little primate they would simply upload a digital narcoalgorithm, which would bypass any firewall or similar preventative measure.
The answer to pretty much any question that asks "How would the Affini domesticate [faction from a different setting]" is "Very well thank you :)"
The Affini are a narrative device, their indomitability and inevitability is essential to the foundations of the setting they exist within. One of the reasons crossovers are discouraged is because to make them work you have to either change fundamental aspects of either the Affini or the setting they cross over with, which does a disservice to either or both parties. Although it's tempting to powerscale and compare feats, the Affini always find a way to domesticate the cuties they encounter regardless of power level for the same reason that Saitama always defeats his opponent in a single punch. Despite how the Affini are framed in-universe by humanity as an enemy at war, HDG isn't a space war opera, but rather a disability narrative.

I excelled in preschool. I knew what animals made what sounds better than any child my age. It was then I knew my destiny. I sealed myself in a cave, honing the art of recognizing animal sounds. Now, I am ready to unleash my genius on the world.

A more up-to-date version of the spaceship graphic.
This is a sample of spacecraft from the Hibour universe, covering a diverse set of roles and factions, mostly from the 2350-2370 time frame.
