General Improvements

The Sims 4 has grown into a sprawling, beloved world; but it could be so much more. Opportunity Awaits is a player-led initiative imagining what TS4 could be if it truly belonged to everyone: richer, deeper and more connected across all playstyles. We’re advocating for improvements that address long-standing bugs, expand gameplay and embed meaningful cultural representation. Big thanks to the talented @obscurus-sims for inviting me to test their beautiful new occult genetic&makeup set.🧚✨

From the very first piece of CC I downloaded when I started playing The Sims 4, to now—years later most of the CC I use still comes from @obscurus-sims. I can hardly put into words how much of an honor and joy this is for me. I made two sims to showcase this gorgeous CC.

The first one is a dark elf wandering through the Black Forest! I rarely ever create occult Sims since it’s a bit challenging for me, but this set gave me such great inspiration and ideas!

The second is more in line with my usual style, and even though it’s an occult set, it blends perfectly with regular Sims! And those sparkling starry eyes (N20)—I’m absolutely in love with them!

To better showcase this occult genetic&makeup set, almost all of the skin details and presets I used come from this set and @obscurus-sims. Once again, huge thanks to @obscurus-sims for giving me this amazing opportunity, I really enjoyed creating with this set.🤍

fuck it. be creative even if you never really *make* anything. write out plot synopses of stories and then move on. design OCs you'll never use. make mood boards and concept art and don't do anything with them. life's too short to forget everything that inspired you and creation doesn't have to be "complete" to be worth the time you put into it.

meet ducky cline! he's an alien who loves earth and was flying past on a trip with his mom and little sister, but they crash-landed and now he doesn't know where they are. he has the live fast aspiration and he's clumsy and a plant lover. (he picked his name based on street signs he saw nearby and he got his clothes from one of those donation bins in parking lots).
