“The Slur Song” by @bigfoots-biggest-fan as performed by Cisero @ The Prohibition Cabaret
I fucking love this song so much and as soon as my friend played it for me for the first time, I knew I had to perform this. This is just such a banger song to perform at any drag show bc I am given plenty of people to point to. Not to mention that I had my family front row for this one.

The coat for this look took 40 hours to bedazzle alone (and gave me a serious case of solvent poisoning-) and the paper pad took me about 4 hours to complete in total. I’m glad I managed to get these pictures from @/solcm15 on insta so I at least have some good pictures of this beast. Needless to say, I’ve changed how I bedazzle from now on.

Just look at this hot bitch… Everyone gets to have a meeting with the Drag HR Manager and I hope to perform this number so many more times ❤️

"What caused these men to change? And why have yesterday's revolutionaries today become resolute reactionaries? [..] Have they duped the people in presenting themselves, under the Empire, as partisans of the revolution? Ah well, frankly, I don't believe that; they don't wish to delude people, but they delude themselves on their own account, in believing that they are revolutionaries. They had taken their hatred very sincerely [..] against the Empire as a violent love of revolution, and deluding themselves, they didn't imagine they were partisans of the republic and reaction at the same time.
'This reactionary notion,' said Proudhon, 'may the people never forget, was conceived in the very bosom of the republican party.' And later on he adds that this notion gets its source from 'its governmental zeal,' [..] all the more deep despotic when it believes itself permitted to do anything, its despotism always has as a pretext the very salvation of the republic and liberty.
The bourgeois republicans associate, to great detriment, their republic with liberty. It is the great source of all their delusions when they find on the contrary, their description and their incoherence; when they have power at hand. Their republic is founded on this idea of power and strong government [..] they don't understand this so simple truth [..] that all organized power, once established, acting upon the people, necessarily excludes the people's liberty. The political State has no other mission than to protect the exploitation of the worker by the economically privileged classes.
[..] Because they hate from the bottom of their heart [..] monarchichal despotism, they imagine they hate despotism in general[;] because they want to have the power [..] to overthrow one throne, they believe themselves revolutionaries; and they don't think twice that it isn't despotism they hate, but just its monarchic form, and that same despotism, as soon as it dresses in republican form, will find in them the most zealot of adherents.
They ignore that despotism is not so much the form of the State or power, but in the principle of the State and power itself, and that, consequently, the republican State is in its essence also as despotic as the State governed by an emperor or king. Between these two States, there is no real difference. Both equally have, through the essential base and economic slavery of the masses, the profit of the possessing classes."
—Mikhail Bakunin, "The Knouto-Germanic Empire and the Social Revolution " (1870-1871)
