Haikyuu Theater Au

This is going to get pretty long, I’m so sorry I’m just so passionate about theater.

Also everyone is in the same theater for some reason, I don’t know this is an au. Let’s start of with the roles.

Actors:

Oikawa Tooru-

Look me in the eyes and say he won’t be a stellar actor. He would treat theater like his lifeblood, giving it his all, using his looks and emotion to his advantage. He is definitely the type to get a lead because he knows his abilities are at that level, however he tells himself to keep on improving. He takes criticism and direction very seriously. He goes for roles of people in power, protagonists, antagonists, no matter what gender. If he get’s a female lead he’s delighted to wear a dress. His vocal range is also very flexible from high notes to low notes.

Iwaizumi Hajime-

Think about it, as Oikawa’s best friend he’s been exposed to a lot of fine arts and can tell you every character by name and actor from any musical you hit him with. If Oikawa needed help practicing, Iwaizumi was there. This made Iwaizumi realize how much talent he himself possesses and it made him eager to do theater besides Oikawa in the future. He now get’s a lot of leads for his confidence, level headed attitude and not being afraid to add comments and ideas. He has a very nice voice that are great with low notes, which is a shoe in for a male lead. 

Sawamura Daichi-

True to his position from volleyball, he has a very captainy feel and a lot of leadership. People will usually dismiss him because he isn’t “striking” however without his sense of control or the tips he gives the theater will probably fall apart. He has had a lot of strong roles of leadership and command, his singing voice strong and though his acting still needs progress he’s undeniably good at what he does.

Sugawara Koushi-

Like Oikawa, his vocal range is also flexible though has a harder time hitting notes. He’s still incredibly talented and is not limited to any role since he can play characters of any personality. He can have mischievous brute of a character or a sweet delicate one and he could pull them both off perfectly. He brings out the best in the people on stage with him and is very good with using all of the stage. He however becomes very upset easily if he messes up, putting blame on himself.

unusual take but i think yamaguchi and tsukishima’s friendship is just a liiiiittle bit toxic and maybe yams needs someone in his life who isn’t an apathetic brat and will LOVE him OUTWARDLY and EQUALLY and give him FLOWERS and HUGS

i love tsukki but. him and yamaguchi? they’re not very compatible, are they? i think the only reason they’re friends is because yamaguchi doesn’t have anyone else.

side note i want yamaguchi and kenma to be friends!! if someone could just bring their introverted awkward asses together then i bet they would get along! they’re both so low energy it would be real chill and comfy for them
