So I went and got drive-thru Chinese food with my partner with no shoes on or pants. Let me explain…Starting with the no shoe thing. So, I have moderate to severe peripheral neuropathy. In layman’s terms, my feet almost constantly feel like I’m walking on hot coals. Sometimes shoes, even socks, can feel painful, nearly unbearable. So, I knew I wasn’t getting out of the car for any reason, so I decided to free the feeties and go shoeless. Now the pants…This one was an accident. See, when kicking it at home, I run around in boxer briefs. I was in a mad rush, partner was waiting in the car for me to bring him his car keys and I, uhm…Kinda forgot I didn’t have my shorts on. I was halfway out the door and realized my faux pas, remembered the whole “not getting out of the car” thing and decided, “Fuck it!” and just went with it. I would like to say this is the first time this has happened, but…Well, I can’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I went to the ER once in crippling pain and rushed out of the house, sans pants, boxer briefs on display, not realizing this until we were 5 minutes from the hospital. A dude parked next to me and asked if he could get a smoke off of me. I gave him two. One thing I’ve learned as a broke-ass smoker is that when you have ‘em, and someone needs ‘em, you share, because when you’re broke and stressed and need one REAL BAD, the Universe will provide. When I lived in my own, before I met my partner, I used to walk 2 miles to a gas station just to buy cigs when I had money and split them with a neighbor. When she had money, she’d buy some and split them with me. Finally got the partner (@adbarbbqandcraftbrew) to watch “The Youngblood Chronicles” with me on the uToobs and he LOVED it, as I knew he would! He kept putting off watching it and putting it off and putting off, but I FINALLY got him to watch it, and he enjoyed it thoroughly, especially Elton John’s cameo as God. If Morgan Freeman isn’t God, I want it to be Elton John. Neither one would judge me for being queer, or even for being an Atheist. They’d understand my non-belief and forgive me. Did the ol’ wake-up routine with the partner (@adbarbbqandcraftbrew), and it’s so fun. We take turns picking songs to watch/listen on @youtube. It’s fun to throw a curveball and choose something unexpected, often either from my youth or just something I’ve never played for him, or just haven’t played in a while. I make my partner some coffee and we jam out! Pictured is #Wrabel, who’s a favorite. So, this has nothing to do with the top secret project I’m cooking up, but it DOES impact it…So, starting next month I’ll be taking courses with not one university, but TWO! I’ll be wrapping up my certificate of Media Communications (that’ll be over in 4 months) and taking a BA in Screenwriting (that’ll take 4 years…yeah…).
