🇫🇷~ Quand ils ont annoncé ANE, j’ai détesté le nouveau design de Leiftan. Genre vraiment. Autant sur les illustrations ça passe, mais son sprite j’y arrive pas. À mes yeux, il a perdu tout son charme et il est beaucoup moins charismatique qu’avant. Sa tête, sa coupe, sa pose, sa tenue... ça passe pas 😂 Comme c’est mon CDC depuis TO, je me disais qu’avec le temps je m’habituerais mais honnêtement j’ai toujours du mal. Ce qui me choque le plus c’est son visage, il a l’air plus vieux et plus maigre... Je ne sais pas, un truc ne colle pas. Et puis j’ai eu un déclic, en jouant j’ai remarqué qu’en fait ce sont ses mèches de cheveux qui me faisaient cet effet d’optique là. J’ai donc essayé de les effacer et... RÉVÉLATION !! 😂😭 Je craque totalement il est tellement plus mignon avec le visage dégagé, on dirait absolument pas le même. J’ai l’impression de redécouvrir mon CDC, j’adore ! Regardez moi cette bouille 😍🥺

🇬🇧~ When they announced ANE, I hated Leiftan's new design. Like really. In the illustrations it works, but his sprite I can't. For me, he has lost all his charm and he is much less charismatic than before. His face, his haircut, his pose, his outfit ... it doesn't work 😂 As it's my LI since TO, I told myself that over time I would get used to it but honestly I still have a hard time. What shocks me the most is his face, he looks older and leaner ... I don't know, something is wrong. But while playing I noticed that it was his locks of hair that gave me this optical effect there. So I tried to erase them and ... REVELATION !! 😂😭 I totally love, he is so much cuter with a clear face, he absolutely does not look the same. I have the impression of rediscovering my LI, I love it ! Look at that baby face 😍🥺

eldarya: halloween event 2021 answers.

Nevra:

1. I agree with Leiftan… The thing with the long neck.

2. You came calmly out of your hiding spot so that she would see you.

3. And you lied to her. Telling her that you had seen the Alicanto.

Lefitan:

1. Straight? Neither crying nor the ringing could have been good signs…

2. Running as quickly as possible seems like a good idea, right?

3. You hid in the tunnel you came from while waiting for it to be over?

Mathieu:

1. Arcane pits are giant nuts with a rune engraved on them.

2. Vanhoe could free the prisoner while you and Gerrod attacked the Cherufe, right?

3. Vanhoé saved the damsel in distress, Gerrod brought down the monster… You’re jealous!

Lance:

1. I would’ve went towards the Pyramid of Doom. It must be doomed to protect something.

2. You knew how to keep a cool head!

3. As a principle I tend to beware of cautious with orders given by Purral.

So, I really liked this event. I think the dialogues actually gave us some introspection about what scares each character. I don’t know if this was made on purpose, but if it was, then congrats because this was smart 😭. 

These are my own interpretations, I want to write about my take on the fear each character portrayed during this event. 

(Event spoilers ahead!)

Lance - In my opinion, he’s one of the easiest. I think Lance has claustrophobia. He was scared of the elevator in Genkaku, and in his story he said the long, narrow corridors made him uncomfortable. And there’s something else you can interpret. He also mentions how he was there to rescue Purral, but he wasn’t sure if he could defeat such a huge monster, so I’d say his other fear would be failing to protect someone. Also maybe being seen as a monster, even if he has changed and is trying to protect others.

Nevra - Nevra is a bit more complicated, but I’d say Nevra is scared of sadness and loss, which makes a lot of sense for him. Even if it was supposed to be a scary story, not a sad one, Nevra started explaining how sad he felt when he thought about everything the Feng Huangs who lived there lost. He also lied to Huang Hua, telling her the bird was real just to not make her feel sad.

Leiftan - Also difficult if we only look at his story, but taking into account his situation during main story, I think he’s scared of being perceived as vulnerable or helpless. He hid the fact that he can’t use his powers and, in his story, he lied about confronting the monster and later confessed he exaggerated some things. He also said everything was dark, so we could say that he’s either scared of the dark or of his own dark side. 

Mathieu - I think Mathieu is scared of what others might think of him, and maybe of being left behind or not fitting in. He likes to be seen as a strong hero who saves damsels in distress and defeats big monsters. He also presumably lied about his story, since each member of his team tells a different story. 

And Erika? Honestly her story was the one that scared me the most because I’m not scared of fictional monsters, but ending work late at night, having to go back home alone, and that feeling of being observed or the paranoia that someone is following you… that’s very real.

Yeah, Leiftan’s illu in SV event was great. But look at this without prior context:

‘Come here, aproach the cliff. You will not regret it’.

He said this to Gardienne, but it could’ve been to Nevra.. Works in both senses.
