I remember listening to this song while on the plane going to Hanoi. It was my first solo trip outside the country. I’m high on pain and this song just made the pain beautifully bearable.
It was a good memory especially the sunrise that I saw from the plane’s window. I still remember the cold fuzzy feeling in my tummy and that purple orange sky. Uggggh it’s just so perfect.

Go do it Day 4

Ate breakfast alone outside for the first time. Took me only 5 minutes to go to this place. Now I get the morning person feels. Will definitely do this again.
Quick food review : Meh and expensive.

Go do it (still) Day 1
Yesterday’s nostalgia is brought to you by 115 Emmanuel House Bldg., Aguirre st. Legaspi Village, Makati City.
Pressed that 5 button on the old elevator. 2 flights of stairs. Small walkway and alas, no more big brown door. Has it been 2 years already?

It will be like this for a while.
Life really is about decisions. There’s only one way to do things. As much as we would love to see the other side, it doesn’t fall that way. Most of the time, it doesn’t work on our favor. What sucks the most is when you’ve given your all, you still end up not getting what you want. Kids, it’s unfair like that. But best believe that good things will still happen. And please celebrate that. Always celebrate that.

There’s something bittersweet about today.
Lola Ellen’s fun birthday celebration yesterday made my stupid choice of drunk calling someone surprisingly bearable. Going out and meeting family again wasn’t that bad at all. Felt anxious on the ride going there but that changed when I stepped out of the car. Had to show that I was fun having around and I think I did well, I guess. My Tito even said that I should be around family more. Must’ve done something nice to make him say that. Cavite Fam (I’d like to call them that from now on) always has that fun vibe and I don’t know why I always miss out on all the occasions that happen there. I should see them more. I should be with family often.

Japan always has a special place in my heart. Even thought of moving there. It was impossible so I just made it a point to visit every year. So happy to tick this off of my bucket list.
I’ll take you to this river that has a wonderful view of the tram. We’ll stay there until the sun sets and watch kids walk home from school. I’ll look at you in awe as you people watch. You’ll catch me looking at you and I’ll just smile. Then I’ll kiss you. I’ll always kiss you.

Nursing a recovering body from the cholecystectomy I underwent 3 months before this trip. I was so afraid then. I always am. Thankful for Lalie and Macel for pushing me to go out. Water is always healing. Never not a bad idea.
