The fact that Ava had the audacity to look even remotely offended by that comment is so funny to me.

I was tossing and turning so bad last night I managed to pull a muscle in my arm.
In my right arm - which is my dominant one.

Thanks, Pastor Sarah!

and not to drag this out but I insist: I do believe that broadening our definitions of manhood and womanhood will help us a lot. creating a stronger sentiment of acceptance towards, for instance, women's body hair, will really just be a net positive for everyone. bringing back free the nipple will help everyone. bringing attention to intersex people and making it a point that they do not to be fixed and that they are entitled to our respect will help everyone.
I know this is very idealistic to say, but these narrow definitions only help very few people, so let's just tear them apart instead of playing around them.

the thing is like. of course cobel invented severance. of course the girl who spent her whole childhood doing backbreaking labor in a fume-choked factory from sun-up to sundown would dream of a way to erase the memory of the aches that came from hours spent stirring a vat. of course the girl who never had a work-life balance because lumon owned every aspect of her world would want to force that separation into existence. of course she sold her soul to the company store and immersed herself in the teachings of kier and earned every single thing she accomplished through dedication and industry. and of course jame eagan took credit for it all.

I've never cried over a single death in yellowjackets but I had to keep pausing during the hunt for Mari this episode. Just. The bravery. The teamwork. Mari's defiance in the face of Shauna's sick cruelty. The fact that her sacrifice got them home. Pit girl wasn't a show of how far they'd lost themselves it was a show of how much they still held on to their souls despite everything. And Mari as the shining example of that. The second she was chosen she locked in, and fought right up until the end. The way the others loved her, none of them were happy with how it played out. The tension between everyone and Shauna in the aftermath. Utterly gutwrenching to watch I feel sick just thinking about it.

Being an evil doppelganger has to be so fucked up like imagine meeting a better version of yourself. Some chain of events going differently that led to "you" being a better person in a way you can never achieve. Personally I'd have no other option but to try and kill them
#Buffy def. explored this#Willow wanting to be sure her evil campire self from another dimension was ok and not letting Buffy dust her#to say nothing of The Replacement and how Xander acted when split into two selves
