technically, every au that features teenage/adult marcel is a canon divergence au but this is actually a drawing based on my two jaws-au. in said au marcel returns from paradis alive and is used as a subject for experiments right after his arrival. one of them include trying to split up a titan shifter's power, which the galliard brothers are used for. while marcel is released from the scientists pretty quickly, him and pieck are left in the dark about porco's whereabouts for a long while, without even receiving information if he is alive at all... until they finally meet him again at a battlefield, possessing a titan of his own that resembles marcel's titan by a lot. this is the first time the galliard brothers properly meet each other after literal years again, after several weeks of fear and uncertainity if they ever have that chance at all.

Reiner had difficulties learning to ride a bike even in elementary school. He spent most of his practice rides falling flat on his teary face.

Awwww sweet baby. Also one more thing he an I have in common. Except I was so scared of actually falling I refused to ever let them take training wheels off, so I've never actually learned to ride a bike 😗

I always used to justify that I learned to ride horses instead, but my allergies are so awful for them now, that that's a moot point.

And you know tiny Porco probably made fun of him mercilessly. Coming by and riding past his driveway on his lil bike perfectly fine as Marcel works with Rei to try and instruct him through balancing properly. smh Pock just go away. 🙄

But then Pieck ride over on her cute little bike that totally has streamers hanging from the handle bars (which she made herself, either with yarn or like making tiny paper stars and stringing them together) and Porco sees her and gets so distracted that he forgets ubout the pothole dovet he's been avoiding in his rounds up till this point and careens head over bars onto the ground.

Instantly Marcel, Rei and Pieck are rushing over to him to check on him and he's starting to sniffle and get that woobly pouty lip kiddos get right before crying but he looks up to see Rei, who's still got his own tear streaked face and so lil Pock bites his lip and pretends like he doesn't have a big scrape on the side of his face from that pavement. Cause he'll be a monkeys uncle before he cries in front of Reiner Braun!
