To Whom It May Concern,

Away from what is being reported in the media,

The situation in Gaza🍉 is catastrophic in the literal sense.

Every day, at least 100 martyrs fall — and the world knows nothing about them, half of whom perish while chasing the so-called American aid💔.

There is no cash liquidity in the Strip, which has led to a severely inflated rise in prices — for example, one kilogram of sugar now costs $100.

Hunger is ravaging the bodies of both children and adults. People are emaciated, and those with chronic illnesses are dying due to the lack of medication.

In Gaza, obtaining a single kilogram of flour can cost you your life.

What is happening in Gaza is beyond description, and what is being shown in the media does not represent even 1% of the reality.

Gaza is dying out of the world’s sight.💔

Reminder // I am writing this blog for my family. I am trying to get them to safety in the midst of war. With your help, I can do that. This is our campaign for anyone who wants to see it and donate with love for us.

My children cry all night because of extreme hunger. Today I went to the American aid distribution center at the Netzarim point in the northern Gaza Strip. We were randomly shot at and many victims fell before our eyes. I almost got shot, but we started running without thinking. I reached my children exhausted from fatigue and fear, but unfortunately my heart is torn with sadness for them because I returned to them empty-handed. Please, I hope that you will participate and donate as much as you can. We are in very serious danger. Please do not leave us. Help us, whether by participating or donating. We need your humanity more than ever.

Hello! I heard your woodcarving story and was wondering if you have any recommendations for things like stab proof gloves? I tried picking up the hobby and liked it a lot but slipped up with one of the tools. My roommate was a bit freaked and wants me to wear safe gloves before I try it again lol. No problem if not.
Hey congrats on trying out carving it's a fun an good hobby.
The glove I see people use the most often is this one here by beaver craft It's cut proof more then stab proof because a sharp knife point can push through the weave of the material.
But I feel obligated to tell you by the tiny Jim on my shoulder that good technique is the best thing to be safe. Try to use the push cut mostly. Sharpen your knife often, and try not to ever have to push hard when carving. If you find yourself struggling to get your knife through a bit of wood, turn it and try carving the other way- it's usually easier to carve with the grain, and then you're in more control and less likely to cut yourself.
Also let me teach you a little fun thing early on that will save you a lot of money while you're here. Sharpen your knives with a leather strop and honing compound often. A lot of beginner kits come with a strop and compound. The way this works is that the grit in the compound is what actually sharpens your knife. most compounds use wax to hold the grit. As you draw your knife over the strop it creates friction which melts the wax, and the grit falls to the bottom so your knife isn't actually being sharpened. Instead of the wax stuff that comes with most beginner kits get yourself Yellowstone honing compound. It's so good trust me. It's the same price as all the other compounds but it'll actually sharpen your knife and not fuck up the tip with a lumpy wax covered strop.

somewhere out there right now is a kid with curly hair being raised by people who have wavy hair at best and those people are giving them 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner and telling them to dry brush it. and that kid is gonna spend all of middle school and high school hating their hair and moping over the flat iron. they're being told right now that if they don't dry-brush their curl pattern into oblivion every morning it means they're unkempt and gross even though they naturally have the kind of ringlets that a thousand bridezillas would commit horrible murders for every june. it's happening right now it's an absolute epidemic and a tragedy every time
