you know how all stores are so crowded and everyone is going crazy? i’m just thinking wouldnt this be the perfect time to like lift from grocery stores like L1ld, asd@ or Tesc0? literally all the SA’s are busy with the crazy customers fighting over toilet roll, it’s so easy then to snatch stuff. whatever method.

UK lifting
my personal experiences of working in different retail stores and having friends in retail etc and lifting a lottt.
river island: just don’t fuck w it, their cameras are streamed live to a company who are paid to sit and watch and radio over if they see anything, very attentive fitting rooms. everything is tagged but I’ve lifted afew purses from there because they must of forgot to tag them or just put them out.
primark: no tags, but 1 security always on door, a lot of staff, and 2/3 people watch screens upstairs, like their security is mad loads of different people running round to take ur picture etc (took an umbrella when I was 12 but that’s another story lol)
boots: plain clothed LPs, one I spoke to was a fat bold man in jeans and a football tshirt, afew things sticker tagged (idk the proper name) but easy to peel off, when they have new perfume out they are never tagged, watch out for sticker tags in expensive items, had one in a smashbox palette. sometimes have security on door but doesn’t move around store, ive had a LP follow me round before dressed in jeans and a leather jacket and he was young and hot and on his phone but I seen a walkie talkie in his back pocket.
pull&bear: same company as Zara so would say the same rules apply. I worked here over Christmas and they stuck me in the fitting rooms most of the time, we had to be very. very. thorough. we had to take clothes of of customers and count them ourselves, anything draping over arms was taken off and we had a scanner where we made them swipe all of there bags they had over them to detect and tags ready to be taken off and magnets. every hour we have to check every room behind mirrors light etc for tags and write down on a sheet how many we find. but, things like jewellery etc or anything on shop floor will be easy, no one watches cctv but staff all wear ear pieces including both managers and stock room and communicate anything through that then we would cs the fuck out of the person, also had a code of we seen someone conceal something it was a girls name idk what say it was sally you’d say “sally is over by the shoes”
victoria secret: way too easy, staff are just young girls who are too busy tidying the constant mess, ½ cameras, pairs of pants aren’t tagged only expensive things bras etc but always find the odd one without a tag. I never conceal in fitting room their too easy to do on shopfloor.
IKEA: I lifted my double bed & it was about £210, just got a load of other things and didn’t scan it as their bagging area doesn’t weigh items (risky but I went for it) loads of blind spots to get little things too.
debenhams: I get a lot and I mean a lot of make up here. nothing is tagged, naked palettes, Mac, too faced, benefit literally nothing. SAs are attentive though as they need to make sales I’ve got 22 too faced mascaras and countless amounts of urban decay and MAC but I have a pretty fool proof trick house of fraser: literally the same as debenhams, different make up concessions I’ve got a lot in there only thing I’ve ever had tagged was a Versace perfume (peeled it off) and a box of Calvin Klein boxers had one fucking magnetic tag in the pair right at the bottoms of the box and I beeped on the way out and had to ditch that pair. john lewis: another one the same as debenhams and house of fraser, most make up is locked up thought literally except from benefit stuff. no perfume/aftershave if tagged tho that’s my go to for perfume. I’ve got 5+ ted baker purses as they always seem to have some untagged.
asda: security are allllways on their phones not watching the screen I swear. at the self check out, pretend to scan at item, press finish & pay, add item in bag and it won’t weight it then just pay for everything else. (King size duvets, £30 I then return them get a £30 gift card for more expensive things I want to lift I then pay with my gift cards)
M&S: idk what there security etc is like I’ve only ever lifted make up, but a lottt, nothing is tagged except testers ?? only ever one SA in make up department and they don’t cs you at all, just need to be sly about it
next: one security guard who just wanders round, no one watched cctv unless they are aware of an incident that’s happened they will review it, tbh the only thing they watch live is their staff, all they care about is being strict on staff not security even tho I knew a lottt of staff that lifted from there. but all clothes are tagged and some expensive shit is double tagged I worked in the stock room and all the tags we used need a hook
lipsy: I was a manager here and we had track suits stolen a lotttttt, we double tagged them but if they had a hook there was literally fuck all i could do as it was literally just me on my own or me and one other staff member on the floor and your not aloud to stick to fitting rooms you have to be mobile and it’s all about making a sale so tbh the dressing rooms are completely unattended (but it was a rly small store)
urban outfitters: I always conceal on shopfloor, dressing rooms are too attentive. I don’t think they have LPs just staff who wear walkie talkies & ear pieces. I will always find a few clothes or underwear that’s not tagged. jewellery & home stuff isn’t normally tagged except the occasional watch.
paperchase: no cameras usually 1 or 2 SA and if it’s busy they’ll both be on the register, a lot of high shelves so easy to conceal without being seen body shop: cameras that cover most of the store as its a big open place, I’ve lifted a lot of little things when it’s been busy it’s it’s quiet I don’t fuck w it cause staff always cs you to death LUSH: no cameras but annoying af sa’s just make sure they don’t see you pick the item up you are concealing just be nice and say you’ve been in here loads of times and don’t need any help and knock yourself out it’s pretty easy Holland and Barrett: either one camera or none, sa’s will sometimes ask if you need any help but not always, most things I tagged expect some expensive medicine but just peel it off and don’t be obviously because it can be loud if they’re stuck on good but I can easily fill my bag there TKMAX: underwear isn’t tagged only clothes. easy to find blind spots as there’s not many cameras, I’ve got a lot of Calvin Klein underwear, make up etc

Yoo I have a question , how do you lift jackets because I really need a jacket but I dont know how to lift one? And which clothing stores are best for newbies (except primark because I’ve lifted so much from them hehe)
hey! When i lifted a jacket i just brought a big reusable shopping bag, brought it with me into the changing room, untagged and shoved it in my bag and put the coat i was wearing on top so you couldn’t see it! pretty basic and slightly risky but as long as you’re in a big shop it shouldn’t be a problem. As for good newbie stores, Topshop, Next, New Look, VS, TK Maxx, H&M, Superdrug, Lush and pretty much any supermarket are good, but places to avoid are Boots, House of Fraser, Debenhams, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer’s and most department stores - they invest the most in security and unless you’re an upper-middle class white women they will watch you like a hawk!

starbucks ?????
all i want is that matte black travel mug with a straw 😫 one location: i was standing in front of the shelf with all the travel mugs on it and the manager came up to me and asked if i needed any help. i just asked her to help me reach the matte black one on top so i could check the price. then she left and continued doing inventory (i think ? she had a clipboard lol) and checking the temperature of the foods cooler etc etc. second location: the non-holiday themed travel mugs were on a shelf in a back corner of the room, kind of close to the cashiers. however, i noticed there was a camera RIGHT ABOVE the shelf and if the cashier wasn’t busy, they could easily turn their head and see me at that shelf. ALSO WHAT THE HELL DO I DO WITH THE BIG RED BOX THAT THE MUGS ARE IN LOL I GUESS THEYRE PART OF THE HOLIDAY THEME BUT ID RATHER NOT HAVE A SHOEBOX SIZED LUMP IN MY BAG ???

wait, there’s actual shoplifters on here??
I have been looking around at lifting blogs and I'm very confused on which blogs are really real.. Is it a facade when you mostly say "It's all fake" or would you know any REAL lifting blogs by chance? :) thank you! Xo
Umm wtf were all fake???
I hate breaking character like this but its a Role playing community, no one is stupid enough to steal things and post about it on the Internet????!?!!!

Sometimes you see people going “Oh, i am against animal-testing but i still lift shit from Mac or other brands who test on animals. It’s okay because i don’t give them money”
You still do. Don’t be naive. You are contributing to there products flying off the shelves, being high-demand. The one paying for the items you took is the distributor, wether it is U17A or S3ph°r@. They are the only one absorbing the loss, the productor already got payed, and is gonna get payed again when the mall has to rebuy some of their products to replace the ones you took.
You don’t want to endorse brands who don’t share your ethics ? Leave their stuff alone altogether.
