Pre-Season Friendlies Update

There have been a couple of changes to the originally announced pre-season fixtures for Glossop North End.

The fixture against Leek Town will not take place, however a match away at Skelmersdale United FC has been added to the calendar.   The Skelmersdale match will take place on Saturday 25th July 2015, kick off is at 3:00pm.

FA Competition Fixtures Announced

FA Competition Fixtures Announced

The FA has been hard at work this morning with the draws for several competitions being made.

In the Emirates FA Cup has been made and Glossop North End will face Prescot Cables in the Preliminary Round.   The fixture will be played on Saturday 29th August 2015.

In the FA Trophy, Glossop North End are at home to Spennymoor Town on Saturday 3rd October 2015.

Weekend help required

Preparations for the new season are in full swing and to ensure Surrey Street is in top condition come August, for the next 2 weekends the ground will be open from 10-1pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

If anyone has an hour or 2 to spare on either day their help will be much appreciated – this coming weekend will involve some general gardening type activities as well as some painting.

The Supporters Club (well Kay & Katharine) have organised a party to celebrate the fantastic season that the club has had and everything that has been achieved.
