The covid vaccine will substantially reduce your chance of catching or spreading variants. It should also prevent your dying of covid.

Continuing to wear masks in public spaces like stores, maintaining social distancing, and other practices will also continue to reduce the spread of covid and variants to unvaccinated people or compromised people, and will also still contribute to the overall reduction to its spread.

These two ideas can and must coexist without hysterical overreaction against either one.

hi!!!! i’ve been busy the past few days because i’ve been volunteering for a vaccination site inside a university. working with nurses and doctors have been so fulfilling. i ask questions as much as i can and am making the most of the opportunity to learn. i’m getting used to being called “doc” outside the classroom, without the associated trauma that comes with it. 😂 so far, so good. 🤗
