Why Didn’t The Green Lantern Corps Help Krypton?

I know the obvious answer is “Because Krypton was created as a doomed home world in 1938 and Abin Sur and by extension the implication of the rest of the Green Lantern Corps didn’t appear until 21 years later in 1959”, but what has been the in-universe explanation(s) as to why they didn’t stop Krypton’s destruction or at the very least help with evacuations?

It’s my understanding that, as the Green Lantern of Secror 2815, Tomar-Re was in charge of the area of space that Krypton was in and was apparently fuck all useful in preventing the extinction of the entire planetary population save for like one to ten people. Are we to believe that all GLs have the non-interventionist policy of DCU Guy Gardner? Or does the ACAB philosophy apply to a group of Aladdin-inspired space heroes?

Fucking love the Green Lantern comics the Guardians fucking despise Hal and they fire him like every other week but it keeps failing because Hal can literally just make his own damn ring with infinite charge because he’s him and continues on galavanting as a GL across the galaxy not giving a single shit. Sometimes he shows up at their door calling them pussies and daring them to kill him. Like what do you do. You MADE this irritating asshole and he's literally your most skilled Lantern in the entire history of the corps, anyone you send after him get their asses handed to them or go off the grid because they swore loyalty to Hal with a blood pact. They are FORCED to keep employing him. Brilliant stuff happening here.

Any advice on not spiraling over the challenge to same-sex marriage? TL;DR Supreme Court has been asked to overturn its decision to legalize gay marriage in all states. They haven't taken it up, but I feel terrified. I'm not even gay (aroace enby). But I can recognize if this happens, it would have an impact on the entire LGBTQ+ community.

I want to remind you the civil rights movement was happening (among other reasons) to get BACK black people’s right to vote. As ridiculous as it is that black people had to fight to get back something they had already had, they did do it.

As long as minorities have existed there have been backslides. There will always be times when we need to fight to get back something that was stolen from us. I hate it, but it’s true. We’ve done it before, we’ll do it again.

And the people who hate us only have 1,256 days left. Not a lot of time in retrospect, and we have existed for millennia. We have time to pick up the pieces of their tantrum.

So many things going on right now around the world that do in fact have a lot to do with "sex workers told you this was happening and you ignored it, largely because you had the privilege of not being a sex worker and not being immediately in danger" and its so fucked up.

It's not just "putting off what you could've/should've done yesterday indefinitely" but more importantly, "failing to protect and listen to some of the most marginalized people in your communities and now its biting you directly in the ass"

I can't say it's surprising but even currently not being a sex worker, I'm frustrated seeing people who did nothing when sex workers were talking about it getting up in arms over things just because they now affect them specifically. Getting involved is a good thing, doing something is a good thing but good grief.

Constitution.congress.gov has edited the constitution

The congressional constitution website has removed part of Article 1 section 8, and all of Article 1 Section 9 and 10 including the prohibition on the suspension of the writ of habeas corpus, the prohibition on the passing of ex post facto laws, and trade duties enumerated to Congress. The purpose of this could be to poison AI searches and to prevent them from returning results that include these sections. This is a willful and treasonous attack on the constitution.
