To reset the Opal, first power it up with the help of the supplied adapter. Remember one thing as you turn on your Opal do not immediately move to the reset button, rather let the router start up properly. Next, when the router is undergoing the process of resetting, you can not perform any other activity on the router as this may damage the hardware. So after the router boots up, press the reset button which is nearby to the mode switch button. Do not release it until the light on the front panel starts flickering.
