by the way, just pointing this out: in tma the first jane prentiss episode was episode 6. she turned out to be the main antagonist for season 1. needles was introduced in episode 6. could it be a coincidence? maybe, but also the magpod writers are so good at hiding little hints and secrets into things and i really think theyre gonna be a reoccurring character, even if his role turns out to be a minor one.

also while im here, jane helped make the characters aware of avatars and tell them a bit about them, so maybe needles will help us discover a bit what’s up with the whole avatar/monster/whatever the fuck deal is with the fears(?) in this universe (and also make the characters aware of it).

My first take on Needles, some guy with an unhealthy obsession for body modification to have spikes needles all over.

It's not faithful enough to their name tho so i might just go with the idea of them being a bag of skin full of needles that looks humanoid enough to be the victim of a mugging, but that's a bit difficult to convey in my traditional art without spending 20 thousand years on a drawing. I also need to make them crustier and nastier ‼
