 It’s summer and the heat of the day still sticks to him, sticky beneath his clothes; his mother’s voice, cool and crisp like an autumnal breeze, had sounded from the kitchen as soon as he’d found his way into their home, telling him that it was time for dinner, and they’d not had his excuses, and had made him sit, and eat. 

 It was only once a week that the whole family really sat down like this, and had a proper supper, as every other day his parents were busy at the restaurant, and the last thing they wanted to do was come home and cook another meal. So it was that every Sunday, his mother would cook something special, making one of her beloveds’ favourite dishes as a treat. 

 Tonight, it was his sister’s, and she chattered on in between bites of Spam and rice and carrot, and in between the clatter of metal chopsticks and silver spoons, Eunwoo felt increasingly out of place.

 Nobody asks about his day. How it’s been, or what he’s done. And it’s his own fault, really, because he’d spent whole years resisting that, resisting family, and home, and small talk. So they’d stop asking after it.

 He never really considered in the midst of his rebellion that it’d have this effect, and perhaps he really had no one to blame but himself. 

 It still hurt though, to know that they’d given up on him. 

 Sometimes he just wondered if it’d been as easy for them as it seemed.

Hello, everyone! I’m so excited to bring this weirdo to Gaenari! I’ve included some info about him and his mun below the cut!

 My name is Dayo (he/they), and this boy’s name is Yang Eunwoo! I’ve got a twitter (@prolapsehun), and Discord available upon request! I’m a mess and his pages are as I, so I’m just gonna do a tl;dr bulleted list. fjknkdfjnkdj Now for some information on boyo here -- 

He’s a weirdo.

But no like really. 

Always sarcastic and making a weird joke for no reason.

He’s got kind of strange interests. Think creepypastas, conspiracy theories, horror films and literature, art, the occult, ghosts, cryptids etc. 

Spends too much time online (hence the previous point).

Glued to his phone.

100% binge watches those “top 5 weirdest/creepiest/scariest ___s” YouTube videos. Probably at work, too.

Wants to be an author, or a photographer, or....okay so actually he has no clue.

Takes classes in creative writing and photography, but is doing a terrible job at working towards an actual degree, and feels a little useless in both areas.

Works part-time in a small (but tightly packed) used bookstore. So small that it seems like he’s the only person ever working there. 

His parents own a restaurant in town that he half-hates because he had to work there for free as a teen. Kind of not that close to his parents. 

He flirts with everyone of age who makes eye contact with him and is unrelated to him, like it’s an actual problem??

Kind of weird and dark and depressed and in the midst of a highkey existential crisis, but he hides it all beneath the playfulness and the flirtation and is really bad at opening up in that regard. 

Friendly, but in a really weird way fdkjdfsnkj. Really hard to get him to take anything seriously!
