27 years ago the Lord blessed me with twin boys. Twins are like winning the lottery! There’s double the goodness and double the fun! I remember going to the doctor for a regular 22 week check up thinking that there was only one baby brewing in my belly. During the sonogram the tech asked me if I knew there was anything special about this pregnancy. We only heard one heartbeat during the initial 6 week checkup. My stomach blew up quickly and everyone just told me that happens when you have your second pregnancy. Twins don't run in my family. When the Doc told me I was having twins all I could do was laugh and cry. It was soooo scary, my first born son was only 12 months old at the time! Needless to say, this season of my life I grew 10 times more closer to the Lord because I prayed constantly every hour of the day for our well being and health. At 38 weeks, the doctor wanted to induce labor because we were so big! I had absolutely no pain when they broke my water and they kept increasing the dose to induce labor. Finally, Alex was came by c-section at 6.11 pounds and Austin 15 seconds later at 7.4 pounds. So awesome to witness their individual growth and their spiritual bond is inseparable. I remember hearing them communicate to each other as infants actually talking in their own baby language, laughing and playing, obviously they understood the conversation….Ha !! it was like watching a scene from Rugrats with my eldest son who was just a toddler try to guess what they were saying. You two make your momma proud, very happy that you both are caring and loving souls striving to get your master’s degrees to make a difference in this world and loving life. That Texas Winter storm 2021 was fierce! The snow wouldnt clump together the first day it snowed but the last day it snowed ...i was able to carve out a momma bear snow woman! My kids affectionately call me momma bear so it was appropriate she turned out that way even if i didn't intent it at first. Hey Peeps on this Thanksgiving Day 2020, Its been a crazy year for most everyone. These times have changed our work careers like mine in my business as a graphic designer / social media manager with Goal Graphics Marketing Agency. Since my last client, Art Battle International got shut down, I have more time to help new clients shine online. I have been keeping busy working part-time at Michaels as a Support Specialist where I wear many hats to ensure the store's performance validated an essential business during these times. Loving the employee discounts on all things creative to feed my many artistic passions like painting and jewelry making. For those that are in my inner circle, know I have been traveling in my Four Winds 2018 Thor RV cross-country just living life and enjoying the journey. Goal Graphics is off the back burner, cooking it up starting today. I am thankful for the gratitude of blessings God has given me to meet so wonderful people to help their businesses working as a Project Manager. Due to the current times, I have a few more spaces to add my pipeline for new clients depending on the workload. While traveling to the buckle of the bible belt in Texas, I added a new addition to my adventures and picked up a grand souvenir, a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited, her name is G.G. We are loving the jeep community, so I made up a jeep club to stay connected to other jeep enthusiasts so not to bore my friends who don’t wanna see all that “its a jeep thang" in their news feed. www.facebook.com/jeepinout143 I have other "passion pages" , some I have collaborated with other like-minded business partners.
