“what does it look like when you feel like your body failed you.” tracy talking about collins’ miscarriage and her emotions about it is why i’m so glad she’s finally doing interviews because it’s such a complex and heartbreaking storyline (the most complex imo) and she plays it so beautifully. episode seven was such a standout performance from her — the realization when she feels her body “failing” her and reluctantly going into the stall and seeing the blood confirming her worst fear; one that she’s been through several times already is just so tragic. but hearing her talk about it and knowing the research (watching 3,000 hours of testimonies of women who went through the same thing ) that she put into it truly shows how much playing collins means to her. her interviews post season 1 have been my favorite tbh because she’s so eloquent when discussing her character’s storyline.

also her briefly talking about collins missing the mci i just know we’re gonna delve into her guilt about not being there and i’m so excited.

Dr. Heather Collins is an exceptional leader.

She convinced the overbearing mom to let her teenage daughter get an abortion.

She counseled McKay about checking her biases in her patient diagnoses.

She gave confidence to Mohan when Robby was riding her too hard.

She expertly guided McKay and Santos in the surgical procedure for the guy with the amputated finger.

She guided Jarvardi expertly in her first time putting in a breathing tube.

She called out Robby for taking out his bad mood out on other staff members.

And she was having one of the worst days of her life after her miscarriage.

I can't wait to see more of her leadership as an attending next season.

do you guys ever think about collins having a cloud of guilt surrounding her abortion with robby that she thinks all the failed ivf attempts are karma for getting it... do you think there is a deeper reason as to why she was hesitant to doctor medical notes other than it being malpractise... almost like she didnt want to tempt fate again but she knows that's ridiculous and pushes it aside to do the thing she believes is right... how seconds after she adminsters the abortion meds she miscarries... how the entire season there are numerous child deaths and when she finally admits to her own abortion aka confesses her 'sins' to robby (michael = one who is like god) she delivers a healthy baby in the ER... the next child death we see is when she goes home before the mass shooting.... she was released from one guilt only to acquire another mere hours later...
