“Conrad reached out and wiped my chin with his shirt. It was maybe the most intimate thing anyone had ever done to me.
I felt light-headed, unsteady on my feet.”

Leave all the love drama aside
The real question is how Belly is still alive after eating only candy and junk food

The way Belly and Conrad can go from having mature conversations about their feelings and struggles, to straight up funny banter where she allows herself to be sarcastic and bossy because she knows he won’t take it to heart but scenes where they can also be in total silence without even touching each other and feel so connected. That’s what love is. Not walking on eggshells, not compromising your comfort, just a relationship where you feel equality supported by your partner.

I caved and watched the episode. And if this is the only full episode I watch, I will have no regrets. Because they are so domestic I want to cry. Conrad is beyond what a partner should be. Belly gets to be vulnerable and silly but also seems more mature and level headed. They make each other better. They have easy banter. He puts her first. Always. That scene with his mom broke my heart and he is trying so hard to keep that promise. He’s such a good man. But I think he needs to tell her he’s in love with her. Whatever the fall out.
Opposite of all that. I can’t help but get the sense that Belly will spend her entire life either fighting or caving with Jeremiah. That’s all she does with him. He gets whiny and upset and she caves. He gets bitchy and she caves. I don’t even think she realizes she’s doing it. She pushes and tries to make responsible decisions like not getting a $750 cake. He blows her off by saying he will just put it on a card like that is at all responsible when you don’t have money to begin with. Now his dad is paying for it and she can’t even get married where she wants and with people she doesn’t even know. Oh but how dare she express her wants as long as his dad is happy. I can’t express enough how not okay any of that is.

I'm going to tell you why I'm Team Conrad. Conrad allows Belly to choose Belly.

Insight Into Belly's POV: She truly believes Conrad got over her quickly and never cared as much as she did about their relationship.
(feat. scenes showing her doubts, scenes reinforcing her doubts, and scenes of her gaslighting herself because even considering he could care as much as her is dangerous)

Belly having almost not inner monologue since this season started is indicating she’s not herself. She has basically become void of herself due to her codependency to Jeremiah. I think she’s going to slowly regain her inner monologue throughout the season.

not to be fake deep but we’re soaring, flying. there’s not a star in heaven that we can’t reach, if we’re trying, so we’re breaking free.
