Four days seeing 0 ants, and I broke down and have revamped Ofeefee's enclosure. I did make everything easy to remove (plants are potted, etc), so that if I need to tear it back down it'll be easier this time.

He watched me from one of his new hides as I was adding substrate and enrichment, and now he's going out and about to explore the changes.

Varya's playing in her antlers ❤️

I have a free roaming snake tonight. Ofeefee had a literal ant colony in his enclosure. Had to completely tear everything out and dispose of his substrate. So, yay. At least he's fine. Though they were crawling all over him and probably driving him crazy. My poor boy and my poor bugs 😞

Eta: he stayed out all night. I found some coco chip substrate to add to his enclosure, and now he's back in with a completely bare bone home (minimal until we can find where the ants are coming in at and get it taken care of). I have substrate, plants, new hides and the like on the way.
