folks talk about "AI" like it's something beyond humanity, like people didn't make it. "we are reaching a future where you don't require skill to create anything!" no we're not, it doesn't take any skill to customize a picrew avatar but someone still had to draw all that. "AI" artists are taking part in an art piece already made for them.

I don't think the 'saying numbers' part was really the priority. The video was almost exclusively about how calculation with numbers is easier with binary. I imagine they felt compelled to have a section describing that because jan also did that, but they might not have been as good at it as jan. I don't think them failing that is really dropping the ball, I think they're overall still right and just didn't execute that part well.
