You have to wonder at what kind of loyalty James Potter inspired in his friends that Remus Lupin, who so feared the idea of being harming people because of his condition, was 100% willing to abandon those morals to avenge James’s death. And would’ve done so, had Harry not reminded him and Sirius that James would not have wanted to them to murder anyone for him.
