If I hear one more “dating coach” ramble about being needy and clingy and co-dependent... JUST coz a person you’re WITH considers his or her day incomplete without seeing your or hearing your voice or just checking to see if you’re alive, even... argggh!
I can’t even. I can’t EVEN!
American chickies, don’t sleep with guys. Please. Just don’t even hug them after your third or fifth date. What’s the POINT?! You’ll just have a hard time shutting him down after that, and you probably won’t want to, either.
Hormones are STRONG, they will take you and make you do things that you’d never otherwise do! So ignore them!
Coz seriously, no guy on the planet will sleep with a girl early on and then decide he has to have her in his life. Why? Coz he can get it elsewhere.
If he’s not obsessing over YOU and how much he likes YOU, then all he’s obsessing over is the meow.
My policy is to never go out with anyone whom I feel would NOT get depressed over my loss and stop dating for like two years. It has to be about ME, not about “I’m looking for a woman.”
Even if he treated me in a manner I’d consider “acceptable,” I am quirky enough that someone who just wanted SOMEONE would likely freak out once I *really* started talking.
In sum, y’all (guys included) would really do better to just wait for a situation where they’re all about YOU--and not just getting “someone AWESOME.”
And vice versa, obvi.
