Vanessa could feel her heart racing and she couldn’t separate it from her excitement or the liquor going through her system. She needed this distraction and it helped that KC was cute. She didn’t have to think about anything else with him. They just had fun. She smiled in glee once his arms were around her. She didn’t want to think too much and fall into this moment. Vanessa wrapped her legs around his waist, trying to be as close as possible with the boy.

KC let this moment continue, parting his lips so he could deepen the kiss and he truly couldn't get enough of this girl; He didn't know how to stop, he didn't want to. As they were kissing, he moved his hands to the back of her bra and unhooked it, letting the straps fall off her shoulders before removing it completely and throwing it closer to the beach. Once her breasts were revealed, he massaged them with one of his hands before squeezing them tightly. Vanessa was exactly what he needed right now and he wanted to show her just how much he needed her.

Vanessa only nodded her head, not really knowing how to respond to the boy. She didn’t agree with what KC was saying. She had to be the strong one for everyone it felt like. If she were to break, everyone would go down with her. “Spontaneous would have been nice, but I don’t think waiting any longer,” her voice trailed.  She fell into the kiss, bringing herself closer to KC.  Her drunkness didn’t want to part their lips so quickly, but she parted nonetheless with a huge smile covering her face.”Definitely,” she agreed.

As soon as KC pulled away, he regretted it and wished he would've kissed her just a little bit longer. And as the two were at standing level in the water, a moment of silence washed over them, both of them not exactly knowing what to say. But he could see the effect he had on her and it was interested to see how far it could go. Wasting no more time, he pushed through the water and walked over to her, lifting her up so her legs would wrap around his waist. He gripped the backs of her thighs to hold her in place before pulling her towards him by her chin, crashing their lips together this time.

“It’s not okay for me to be sad. I’ve got too many people depending on me for me to start crashing. I spent too much time being sad. It’s time I’m happy for once,” Vanessa admitted. She didn’t want to dawn on the Alli subject too long on the fear that it would only send her to tears again, but as KC brought her closer her mind drifted off topic. Vanessa nodded listening to the memory. She kept her eyes on his lips, hanging on to practically every word. “That you have good taste,” she teased. “If you wanna kiss me why haven’t you tried already?”

"You're allowed to be sad sometimes. No one's going to hold it against you," he replied, making direct eye contact with her now. "Well, I wanted it to be spontaneous but now that you mention it..." KC's words trailed off and before either of them had time to process, his lips were pressed against hers as one of his hands moved up and down her spine. Letting the kiss linger, he slowly pulled away but kept his gaze locked onto hers. "Definitely worth the wait."

“Run faster than!” Vanessa called out as she hit the water, but before she could get anything more out KC was right on her tails splashing into the water with her. Vanessa felt giddy under the water as she brushed her hair back.  “There’s a lot going on with the you know… Alli thing. I don’t want to be sad about it anymore,” Vanessa admitted.  She moved closer to KC, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. “I don’t know why I ran in here. I can’t swim too well,” she laughed. “But at least I won,” she beamed.

When she mentioned Alli, he shifted his gaze and looked down at the water, knowing that was a sensitive subject for her. "It's okay to be sad, you know," KC finally replied, looking up now. "But I get what you mean." Wrapping his arms around Vanessa's waist after she moved closer to him, he couldn't help but continue to stare at her. Licking his lips, "So remember when I was drunk and I tried to kiss you?" He gave her a second to say something but when she didn't, he leaned his face in closer to hers. "Well, I'm not drunk and I still want to kiss you so what's that tell you?"

Vanessa let her head fall back into the seat as KC drove. The buzz was more than setting in and could feel herself becoming more relaxed as the seconds went on. The drunkness was helping her forget about her friend’s tragic end and now her head was in this moment with KC. She did question a little how this all started. They went from being two study partners, prom dates and eventually KC wanting to kiss her. She was flattered to say the least. “I’m in the mood for anything,” she smiled. “But I think you’re just trying to find a way to see me undressed,” she commented back. Before he could respond, Vanessa was already lifting up her top and sliding herself out of her shorts. “Last one in has to by snacks,” she added, heading towards the water. 

KC waited for the girl to do or say something but was definitely caught off guard when she finally replied and began to strip down to her undergarments. Raising his eyebrows, he wasn't even going to try and deny it and simply enjoyed the sight he was getting to see. Just when she said her last sentence, she was already half way to the water. "Not fair! You got a head start!" He shouted as he began to run after her, stripping down to just his boxers as he approached the lake. Jumping right in, he tackled the girl, dunking her under, definitely not taking it easy on her. "That's what you get for cheating," the boy teased, smiling once she came up for air. "So what made you decide to get wasted tonight?" KC questioned, treading water.

She wasn’t about to admit it out loud, but Vanessa was glad KC had showed up to the party. Vanessa had been so down this entire week she needed something to lift up her spirits. Once she heard that the police were coming, almost out of instinct, Vanessa grabbed KC’s arm rushing them towards her car. “Don’t wreck my b-baby,” Vanessa hiccuped. She handed him the keys lazily, knowing she wasn’t in any state to drive. “Where are we going?” she asked getting situated in the car.

At first, KC didn't have the slightest clue as to where they were going, he was just driving as far away from the woods as possible. "Let's go to the lake," he finally suggested after the idea popped into his head. He looked over at the girl, surprised that she wasn't already passed out in the passenger's seat. Once they arrived there, he parked the car but stayed in his seat, looking back at Vanessa. "You in the mood to swim?" He questioned. "Or you did you just want to stay in here?"
