Why you should eat Halal
Blood in meat makes it more likely to be putrefied and it negatively impacts the taste. Halal meat is not only healthier. The meat is also more tender and tastes better because it stays fresh longer due to the absence of blood, which has no bacteria.

Benefits of Eating Halal
1. Safer to eat.
Halal meat is healthier because the blood of the animal is drained from its arteries which ejects all of the toxins because the heart keeps pumping a few seconds after death.  When the blood is not drained from the meat is tougher and drier.  Without halal practices, the spinal cord is cut and the animal goes into a shock which results in the cardiac arrest which results in the blood getting stuck in the veins and in the animal body which is a result of many diseases. The animals at the halal farms are given a healthy diet. They avoid giving the animal anti-biotics and chemicals that profit-driven farms use.
2. More Ethical.
It is not allowed to slaughter animals that are sick, therefore the animals are kept in clean conditions and healthy. The slaughtering is very human. The animal is made comfortable before slaughtered. It is killed at a pressure point with a sharp object so that it dies instantly without pain.
3. Less prone to meat contamination.
The blood is drained from the carcass which produces healthier meat and fresher from the contamination that is caused by bacteria growth. There is no fear toxins in the animal which can be caused from anxiety towards humans. The animal is killed fast and with no pain. This creates healthier and cleaner meat.
4. Improves Metabolism
The animal is fed a healthy diet that restricts any additives. When you consume healthily it has positive effects which supports your metabolism and immune system.

Is halal meat better than conventional meat?
Animals at halal farms must be fed vegetarian diets,  chickens and cows raised on U.S. farms don’t qualify. Halal animals also can’t be treated with antibiotics or growth hormones, since the hormones may contain pork-based ingredients. The animal on halal farms are slaughtered by hand, many chickens in the U.S are slaughtered by machine. The blood is always drained in halal meat. It is forbidden to put any stress or pressure on the animal and they are treated as humane as possible. The animal is slaughtered at a pressure point so it feels no pain. The animal must have been treated properly in order for it to be halal. They must be fed appropriately and never be fed the products of another animal. Under no circumstances can it be abused or mistreated. It is given clean water and they are in a large space where they have fresh air. The blood should be completely drained from the animal. The blood of the animal carries toxins, germs, and bacteria and when left inside the body of the animal could potentially make people sick.  An amazing result of cooking and consuming halal meat is a healthy meat in which the resulting texture is tender and the meat delicious.

Method of Slaughter
The meat that Muslims eat must be prepared by a supplier that uses halal practices. In Islamic law dhabīḥah is the method of ritual slaughter of all halal animals. This method of slaughtering lawful animals has several conditions to be fulfilled. The name of God or “In the name of God” (Bismillah) may or may not be called by the butcher upon slaughter of each halal animal separately, and it should consist of a swift, deep incision with a very sharp knife on the throat, cutting the wind pipe, jugular veins and carotid arteries of both sides but leaving the spinal cord intact. The animal is slaughtered in the direction of qibla. The qibla is where the Kaaba is in Mecca that Muslims align their prayer mats with. Anyone who is a believer of the book (Christians or Jewish people), can perform this method. The blood of the animal must be drained completely from their veins.  Any animal that was killed brutally is not permissible. Additionally, if an animal was strangled, killed by a fall, or killed by another animal cannot be eaten.

What is Halal?
Halal is the Arabic word for permissible. In the Quran, halal is the contrasting word for haram (forbidden). The word halal is mostly associated with dietary laws regarding the meat processing and how the food is prepared. Vegetarian cuisine is halal as long as there is no alcohol in it. The most common example of haram food is eating pork. The Holy Quran forbids the consumption of pig products by Muslims. Other foods that are not made halal are also considered haram.
