Mohiniyattam is Kerala's popular and traditional art form that requires the use of graceful moments, and is performed mainly by women. Actually, that dance is a combination of Kathakali and Bharatanatyam.

Koodiyattam, known for Kerala 's earliest classical art form, became popular in 9th century temples and became a dramatic performance before the 15th century. Literally the word "koodiyattam" means "to act together."
