saying yes to go out with curly & how the gang reacts -- headcanons

more headcanons no one asked for curly on the swim team // -he actually dives, but sometimes he’s put in relays. -he struts his stuff, man. -speedo’s do not bring curly down. - he’s really good at diving and he’s won regional awards - never states tho. - he has an arch nemesis on an opposing team - “motherfucker always beats me” - Angela drags Tim to all of Curly’s meets - “He looks like a pansy”- Tim - “You’re a fucking pansy. Shut the fuck up.”- Angela - he hates wearing swim caps - “let out the beast”, he says, as he takes the swim cap off - varsity swimmer!! - literally lives in his varsity jacket (that he bought himself) - “my nipples could cut diamonds, man”- curly @ everyone on his team

Do you have any head canons about the lesser known greasers like the Shepards, Brumly boys, or the Tiber street tigers?

i only really have headcanons about the shepards, but i could post some of them if you’d like!! thank you for requesting💖

whereas ponyboy doesn’t really describe much of a hierarchy in the gang, the shepards definitely have one

tim’s obviously the leader, while there’s a designated second in command, etc.

curly definitely tries to live up to tim’s reputation and emulate him as much as possible

but curly’s reckless and impulsive and that’s a big reason why he isn’t tim’s number two which eats at him sometimes

tim needs someone to keep the gang in order whenever he gets into trouble w the cops, and that won’t happen if curly gets into more shit than he does

tim’s reputation easily rival’s dallas’s, so not many people mess w him directly, most issues w other gangs have to do w fights that other members have gotten into

she technically isn’t part of the gang, but angela’s definitely the mediator whenever curly and tim get into arguments

in all honesty she prefers doing her own thing, while she is close w her brothers
