(Until We Meet Again)", or Ireland's neighbor in HWS 413 having to deal with Ireland screaming at night...?

If they are just doing their life, unless someone already knows them as part of "those people" (<-tiny bit of nudity there), people could just see them as regular humans, enough to even work as spies.

...But then you have mf Prussia. Except a more than 10 years old occasion when he showed blue eyes, Hideraz always paints his eyes in some tone of red, pink, or light-blue/pink. Having albinism or not (headcanons vary), a soldier with such peculiar eye color would stick out.

And sadly, irl people often stare... Gilbert still could be seen as a ordinary person, albeit a bit distinctive, right? Except that he often has a wild bird with him--besides he's so loud.

I headcanon that people in Berlin know who is Gilbert on sight--like the people knowing France in Paris--but Gil is also very evident even outside the capital. Germany alone maybe just looks like some muscular young man, while if he is hanging around with Prussia, by looking at both faces, it becomes obvious they are "Mister" Germany and "Mister" Prussia.

Fellow nation people 99% of the time use Prussia to call Gilbert (and vice versa), but some normal citizens may call him GDR, after all that country existed for 41 years... Nowadays, Gil may tell some common people he likes and sees more frequently to just use Gilbert or Beilschmidt.

Okay, something about that kinktober (with no kink) thing that I noticed is this: every fic must have a conversation about a safeword being used, and then use it in the scene. Obviously this comes from the fact that they're treating fictional characters like real humans yadda yadda yadda

sorry not sorry, i find too amusing imagining gilbert feeling out of place between the ancients, waaaay in the future (year 2100+). very egocentric and prideful, yet still feeling out of his league around other dead nation-people, unless they were more contemporary to him.

germania is saddened about his son/grandson—i'm not sure about my own hc—death, but when they met in heaven or whatever, the first thing he did was bear hugging gil. ("so, you're happy i bit the dust." "child, i'm not happy you died...! i wanted to see you...")

a third post i'm thinking for a while is about fran being so annoying (is canon that he loves teasing) that if his diplomats or military catch a different nation-person in the middle of smacking or pushing fran they know is probably their own nation's fault and they fucking hate that—imagine catching fran and art fighting but that's typical and maybe from art's own volition, so think instead in fran and lud not too long after the last war and fran having to be like ah sir, i was bothering him, haha...

(this "your nation is so annoying that probably fights are their own fault" can absolutely also include gil, and i think al too, when he annoys art or matt too much. and you know what fran too, that's partially could be his influence)
