I saw this video on the ⏰ app about using this website to generate fic covers that look like the penguin classic covers. (Please check it out! It is very easy to use and very fun to make covers with - I would absolutely recommend it!)

But I also love customization, so I put together free templates in Canva, giving you the ability to change font colors, styles, etc. Wanted to share it in case anyone wanted to try it - it was fun to imagine my fics having fancy book covers!

When opening the templates, there’s options to change the author, fic title (& subtitle on #1), design colors, and the photo. If you choose a photo first, then when you’re changing the details, it will offer you color options picked from the photo (which is so helpful!) And if you have any questions, please let me know! 💕

Literally just some dude hanging out. Never bothered anyone but worms. Big fan of the way you just stand there in the middle of the grass like you forgot what you were supposed to be doing.

House Sparrow, 10/10

You're a gang. You're participating in gang violence. There's ten billion of you living in a single wood pile and it's been civil war for three years now. When will the bloodshed end?

Tufted Titmouse, 1/10

European Starling, 9/10

Why is it always you? Listen, I know, I KNOW the sparrows are the problem, and YET. When the fighting starts, it's always you in the middle of it, provoking them and then screaming like you're an innocent bystander defending yourself. I'm onto you.

Carolina Wren, 3/10

This rating is not for physical violence, which you don't engage in, but for your role as an incurable narc. A tattle tale. I know they're fighting again, okay? I see it. Our yard has been a warzone for years, you don't have to make a big announcement every time someone misbehaves.

If this were "birds who think they're better than everyone else," you'd get 10/10.

For who am I to cast judgment on the actions of La Famiglia? I assume you are doing what is best for the neighborhood. If I could, though, without criticism, make a single observation. That when large numbers of you gather in the ominous dead cottonwood - no? No, you're right. None of my business.

A Stark Family Portrait

Oof this was both nostalgic and painful to pull together. It hurts the same way being an adult watching 'Anastasia' hurts, we know she never saw her parents or siblings again. All that's left is the semi-abandoned castles and portraits sort of hurt.

Oh and I forgot to mention it on Ned's redesign post but way back when I read the first book, when season 1 was a twinkle in GRRM's eye, Ned was my favorite character. I am a sucker for honorable protagonists and was devastated. Who was your favorite character in book 1/Season 1?

You have this gift of making me ship characters I normally wouldn’t. Jamie and Sansa, Lucius and Hermione, for example. And correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t you say that you might write something with Bella and Carlisle from Twilight? I wouldn’t ship them normally, but like I said, your writing is so good that I become immediately obsessed with whatever pairing you pick, which is both a blessing and curse because now I’m searching AO3 for good Sansa/Jamie and Hermione/Lucius fics after discovering your stories.

This ask has made me so so SO happy, thank you times a million! This is such a huge compliment to me because I feel like so much of my fic is trying to demonstrate why I think two characters would Work together so hearing that I’ve managed to persuade you is just the best ❤️

I do indeed have a Bella/Carlisle!! Although hugely on the backburner - I need to get back to my Lucius/Hermione next - but it’s a dynamic I am soooo keen to explore. I was waffling between two different supernatural storylines and now I’m waffling between supernatural and all-human and the indecisiveness is very very annoying
