Crunchyroll Acquires Rights to Digimon Adventure tri.

November 20th, 2015. Anime streaming site and subtitle producer Crunchyroll has acquired the rights to officially subtitle the first of six Digimon Adventure tri. films. The first film, Reunion, will become available in English simultaneous to its Japanese premiere at 7:00 AM PST/10:00 AM EST on the 20th. Initial preview statements from Crunchryoll have used Japanese names for the Digimon (“BelialVamdemon”) and a mixture of full Japanese names with dub abbreviations for the human cast, as well as the dub term DigiDestined. Toei Animation has generally adopted “DigiDestined” as an English equivalent to the Japanese “chosen children.”

Digimon Adventure Tri. Complete Selection Animation Digivice

The group order is now open for the CSA Digivice. This Digivice is not a game device, unlike the previous versions. It simply plays lines spoken by the respective Partner Digimon (in Japanese) and the background music (BGM) of Butter-fly and brave heart, while it lights up. (How it lights up and the voice recordings can be seen in the demo video.).

As with all previous group orders, there will be a second payment when the items get released, which includes all applicable shipping fees.

There are two versions for this product,

The standard CSA Digivice

The “Yagami Taichi Metal Strap“ set, which includes the CSA Digivice as well as the Taichi metal strap found on his mobile phone seen in the trailers.
