"I'm the strongest bodybuilder who ever lived..." - Franco Columbu (Mr. Olympia 1976 and 1981). And he really was. Pound for pound Franco was the strongest and most athletic bodybuilder of his time. He never weighted over 200lbs and yet could bench 520lbs with good form and pull 700lbs on deadlift easily. He was also very agile and quick from his previous years of being a high level boxer out of Sardinia. Where he lacked in height, he more than made up for it in every other faucet of physical ability. I challenge you to do some reading up on this man and try not to be awestruck by his list of accolades.

‘What I found is that winning doesn’t happen on show day. It happens in early mornings, painful workouts, long cardio sessions, and hungry nights. It happens in those moments of fear we all have when faced with a difficult goal and then more so what you make of that fear. It happens in every second of every day before you win. If you can take every opportunity that you have to bring yourself closer to your goal, win every one of those opportunities, all while becoming more resilient in the process, how can you lose? That is an exciting opportunity, an exciting responsibility to find out what you’re truly capable of.” - "CBUM" Chris Bumstead (Mr. Olympia 2019-2022). I couldn't post Arnold today and not post Cbum as well. He's been acclaimed by many to be the modern day Schwarzenegger, and I can't say I disagree. He's been a huge proponent in motivating me on my own journey in the sport. He's such a humble and well liked guy, you just can't help but admire him. Although he's said he won't be competing in the 2023 Mr. Olympia this year, he's hinted at future competitions to come. Can't wait to see what he has in store for his fans in the future.

"If you want to turn a vision into reality, you have to give 100% and never stop believing in your dream." - "The Austrian Oak" Arnold Schwarzenegger (Mr. Olympia 1970-75). What can be said about Arnie that hasn't already been said? Regardless of how you feel about his life choices or political views, the man is a living legend in the bodybuilding community. I highly suggest you watch his new docuseries on Netflix, he really goes in depth how his success started with his mind and his clear vision for success. He manifested everything he has by seeing it clearly in his head first. A principle we should certainly all be applying to our own lives.

“Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible.” - "The Chemist" Frank Zane. (3x Mr. Olympia 1977-79)
Shown here performing his renown vacuum technique. Frank had a physique that I think was probably the most desirable out of anyone. Sure he wasn't the biggest, but his v-taper was unreal and I just don't think anyone was as well rounded as he was.
